He’s so slow, absolutely useless, barely championship standard let alone premier league.

Thought it was a very good performance but my word steer is a donkey.

Well plenty of good points to take away. But we had better hope Emi Martinez doesn't get injured.

He should have saved the first one, other than that, what did he do wrong? By the same logic, Martinez should have saved the first against Watford, he never got any abuse?

Chris he should have saved the first one he should have also done better for the second. The third he dives after the balls into the net. He also flapped in the first half and nearly cost us a goal. Commanding of the area not there. Decided to come for a ball he didn’t need to also stayed at home when Chelsea cleared the ball and allowed it to come all the way back into box when he could have come forward to played the ball earlier. Zyeki shot he catches the ball to the side of his head if thst slips through his hands it’s the net. His ability to pass the ball well I’ve seen 3 year olds pass the ball with more power. When balls comes to him to pass the ball wide he kicks across himself technically shocking. Please don’t make me continue the man is a useless donkey and needs to be gone. And a mayor factor is the defence don’t trust him. You have your opinion on him that’s your thing mine personally he’s one of the worst keepers I’ve ever seen in a villa shirt. And before you bring up the rubbish bout him getting us up again and did we rubbish on him no we didn’t he’s not good enough end of story. Also and a major thing here sinislo the youngster would be higher up the keeper order if he didn’t get injured last season while on loan. Steer is still at the club on 2 factors sinislo is young and lacking bit of experience and cause Heaton went. He will be replaced and I will be jumping for joy and if you want to attack me for saying that go ahead cause i stick to my guns he’s a rubbish donkey and needs to be gone.

Also chris here you go here’s the rating for him maybe take a read and take note.

Jed Steer: 5/ 10
When tasked with the responsibility of filling the influential boots of the isolating Argentinian. Emi Martínez. it seemed the Englishman between the sticks lacked conviction. It started off poorly as he was slow off his line to thwart Romelu Lukaku from sliding the ball under him to open the scoring, before being caught on his heels from an undercut pass from captain Tyrone Mings. There is some more trying to find them and show you the rest.

Rob, you’re clearly pretty passionate about Steer, which is fair enough.

But the second goal is Mings failed back pass, the best keepers in the world concede that same goal 10 times out of 10, no one else’s fault other than Mings.
Then you’ve talked about him making a save and said “if that slips through his fingers it a goal” - surely you see how absolutely ridiculous that is? if my aunty had balls she’d be my uncle comes to mind.

He isn’t the best at all I’m not saying he is, but you seem very strangely against a back up keeper who seems a good fella, who has done us well in the past (I know you don’t agree he helped us get up but facts are facts he was the keeper for 10 games unbeaten and three wins in the play offs, and won us the penalty shoot out to get us to the final - fact, no opinion) . Are you sure it’s not personal between you and him? ?.

Chris the back pass from Ming seas under hit yes but if you notice what steer does he goes to the ball the goes back then stops and gets caught in no mans land.
My point about the save was rule number 1 as a keeper get your body behind the ball. Yeah I do have a strong opinion against him your right he’s not good enough to be our back up that’s my point.
You keep praising him for helping us get up. Well done him have a look at the 14 goals we conceded in the games he played in and 7’of them he is a fault for. During those 14 games he had 30 shots against him 14 goals conceded he was facing a minimum of 3 shots a game so don’t try say isn’t something personal cause I’m stating the ducking faults he has and thst he’s not good enough so don’t try giving me rubbish and do everyone a favour and take the he got us up rose tinted glasses off and look at him properly. He’s simply not good enough but you think he is okay let’s see next week when he most likely play against Chelsea and see how many errors he makes.

Also chris I remind of you a game last season against Arsenal away exactly same situation as Mings and steer yesterday it was McGinn under hit a pass to emi and partey latched on to it and by the time partey looked up emi was on top of him making the save but yeah all world class keepers concede that goal 10 times out of 10 do me a favour give your head a wobble and go watch good and world class keepers and take your head out of steers arse.

No rose tinted glasses here, just giving my opinion and backing it up with facts. You don’t seem to be able to handle a different opinion and despite my attempts of keeping it as banter, asking if it’s personal etc you are getting a bit too heated and rude saying things like “take note” “do everyone a favour” etc over a debate that let’s face it has no baring.

Usually I’d continue to my point of view forward and give some back up as to why that’s my opinion, but the way your trying to take this and after the news we all got yesterday I really haven’t got the energy. So I’ll leave you to it, enjoy your Sunday muck and maybe just calm down a little bit?.
