Just been reading a report on talksport where a so called fan has said JG is a traitor.

The kid is 25 who's bent over backwards, played with his heart on his sleeve through ups and a lot of downs - even took the abuse from fickle fans when we went down and under achieved.

For me his move is disheartening but he is no way a traitor or a snake etc.

£200k week - is a wage we won't have to pay, for 1 player - can go towards 2 possibly 3 good quality players.

He's gone to a club that has achieved far more in their short 10yr stint than what we have and regardless if you think they bought the titles, you have to remember that they aren't unbeatable or guaranteed to win anything.

This move will no doubt help his International career and maybe is that move for Southgate to start him.

Also on the snake thing -- Delph, snake comment a lot don't realise a few factors that played into that move.
First the birth of his kid Aleya, his wife was expecting and he did not want to be too far away from her - any person who puts family first gets my admiration.
Secondly - villa were already on the financial decline 2014/ 2015 a shrewd bit of business stopped him for leaving for free.
Despite the statement, him saying he was staying - the board would have had to allow the transfer in the first place.

But why not, can think of far worse as a backup. Though I do see Delph ending his career at Leeds.
