Did a phenomenal job getting us promoted tbh, won us the home game against Baggies and different class in the shootout.

Adequate for a back up.

Yes, rubbish against Walsall, and worse today. We need a better backup for sure.

Chris I was waiting for someone to say this about steer. Done a good job admit but he’s not good enough and also regarding him getting us up. Go back to the 15 games he played and the shots he faced and goals conceded he is actually at fault for half of them. He’s not good enough and needs to be gone.

He’s good enough for a back up, you aren’t going to have a phenomenal keeper knowing they won’t play. Go back to the home game against baggies in the play offs, watch the saves he had to make. The one from Rodriguez is one of the best I’ve seen live.

Really a back up keeper is not where we should be focusing our attention.

With you on this Chris, he has been very good for us when we needed him to be.

Both chris and Dave the save from Jay Rod watch it clearly. Yes it’s a good save not a brilliant save. Watch the movement of the ball. The ball wasn’t going into the top corner it was bending back in towards steer which makes it much easier for him to get his hand to. Also chris watch the Gayle goal he could and should have actually saved that. He’s not good enough and as for your comment about a back up that is good just look at Heaton he was an experienced keeper and he knew when he come back from injury that he wasn’t going to play. Steer isn’t good enough. He needs to be replaced. Yeah so he done some good getting us up but he’s not good enough as a back up.

Chill your boots naysayers, it's a bloody friendly, can't read too much into these games it's purely an exercise in player fitness. As long as we've got our s##t together when the real games start is all that counts.

Moose, agree, however friendly or not Wesley has to be moved on and quick.

It was a top save Rob, any keeper who has played at any level will tell you that. In my opinion he’s more than capable as a back up and has proven it, just my opinion.

Chris I have played at a good stand level as a goal keeper it’s a good save. He is not a good back up at all but you have your opinion and I have mine and I stand by mine. To many people think cause of what he done in the championship was and is good enough for him to be there as back up but what we have coming through from the academy is better. Also I know plenty of people who are in the same thinking of me and saying he not good enough but as I said you have you opinion.
