I see Arsenal are close to signing Houssem Aouar.
This will be the second technically gifted attacking midfield player they have signed, in the last few days.
Surely there has to be something is this, bearing in mind, there has been no more developments in SMR contract talks.

I think if you are trying to build a squad then even if you sign Aouar, Arsenal would probably still want to keep ESR and sell other assets like Maitland Niles, Willock, Lacazette and others, however the unknown element will be what ESR thinks if he feels the signing of Aouar restricts his opportunities then he may well decide his better option is with us.
