So we had a great first 18 or so games, being pretty poor in the following 12, only for some last ditch defending and such a great shot stopper we wouldn't of gotten those wins since Christmas, some people are saying we are going through a bad patch but come on guys a bad patch is 5 or 6 games but we are looking like we are going to finish out the season in this relegation form, good for 18 games and bad for the next 20 is not what I call a great season, our form has nose dived and there is no hiding from it we look very like what happened Sheffield and look how that's turned out. what I'm asking is how long is this form going to continue before the posters on here in the mindset that it's being a very good season start to question their own opinions? It's ok for people to say this is not good enough and we look like going backwards without being in the Deano out section, we can have a "Deano must improve section" without wanting him sacked but this blindness to what's happening our season is quite annoying, we are never all going to agree on everything but surely we can all agree that current levels are not good enough.

Agreed - We can be critical of Smith without wanting him sacked, the reality is we have been very poor for 4 months now and if we don't improve we run the risk of carrying this poor form into next season at which point Smith will be under much greater scrutiny.

I have 2 big fears mate, u nailed 1 of them “carrying this form over to next season” the second is that our current form is making us look very ordinary and will restrict our choices in the transfer window.

I think Sanson’s arrival hasn’t helped us as a squad and I think it’s had a huge impact on Barkleys confidence, he looked like a guy who was playing for a permanent move, I think he’s looked at sanson purchase and thinking well they bought him now they won’t buy me.

I did think yesterday he looked a bit better than he has lately if only he had pulled the trigger sooner a few times he was in possession at the edge of their box, I’m hoping it was a sign of improvement, he needs a goal, scoring yesterday would of put him on a huge high, I also think sanson has impeded Ramsey’s progression, for me it was a huge waste of 15 million, I miss having Conor in the squad, people forget he was in the team that started the season so well.
