Aguero anyone.

Age, injuries and wage: 31 with a meniscus issue which will be a recurring injury plus 220-280k a week.
Compared to Abraham 23, younger fitter *probably* quicker injury recovery time, 80-120k per week.

Ads. A good reasoning to which I would beg to differ. 31 is no age, look at Ronaldo or messi they are 6 years older. Injuries i agree is a concern. Wage, no transfer fee really negates the wage demand as for a player of his ability you'd be paying 80 mil in the first place. With regards tammy I would love him back and would look at playing them both.

{Ed077's Note - Not many people in history have had the dedication to maintaining fitness and quality for so long like Ronaldo and Messi. They have never been as injury prone as Aguero for example.}

Would prefer Memphis Depay and Florian Thauvin, both would also be free in the Summer, both younger, both less injury prone and both with lower wage demands.

Eds. Going on his stats he averages 27 games a season and from them 18 goals a season. Not sure that makes him injury prone. With regards to longevity who is to say he doesn't keep himself as dedicated as those mentioned and will go on as long. I could add zlattan and Rooney to the list.

{Ed077's Note - 27 games just in the league is hardly great. Some of those games might possibly be cameos as subs.

If it is 27 games in all comps that's hugely injury prone. Missing half the games if that's the case.

Spin it however you want but Aguero has been injury prone which has always halted his campaign every season. There is a reason he has won just a single PL golden boot award despite having one of the best goals per minute ratio in PL history, and that's not lack of quality/ability.

He is a great player who has struggled with fitness. And BTW he I*nt going to sign for Aston Villa anyways, and neither is Memphis Depay for that matter. (Sorry to burst the bubble)

Doh I was enjoying the bubble. I'd still take his 18 to 20 goals all day long.

{Ed077's Note - that is why the "top" sides are still likely to be after him on a "free". He is a goalscorer of the highest quality whenever he gets on the field on any kind of regularity.

I see you didn’t rule Thauvin out Ed, any chance we could get him then?

{Ed077's Note - no idea mate. Personally I would have thought AC Milan would have followed up on their previous interest and agreed some sort of move by now. But they've for some reason not tied up a deal yet (likely financial).

Although aguerro would be great to watch in claret and blue it’s dillusional to think he will sign for any team not playing European football and most likely champions league, he’ll go to a big team to sell jerseys, if I was a betting man I’d put my money on PSG. I don’t know to much about thauvin, on a scale of Davis to ronaldo how good is he? My money is on the British market for our new recruits.

I know at Bilston market you can pick up pretty much anything but don't ever recall a stall selling top notch centre forwards and wingers 🤔😁😉.
