I think the current first team have a real togetherness and you can see they enjoy playing with each other and that feeds into the attacking intent we display game after game, so whilst I think we need to strengthen the squad I don't think we want a big time charlie who may disrupt the dressing room mid season win our games in hand and we really are in with a shout of European football and whereas the first team is good enough, I think we ought to be looking to upgrade the squad without spending millions. With that in mind how about Lundstram from Sheff Utd and Osayi Samuel from QPR? both I believe entering the last 6 months of there contracts both would in my opinion be an upgrade on what we have in central midfield and out wide and add real depth to the squad. Osayi Samuel is attracting interest from other premiership sides but given our current position we must have a reasonable chance of landing him.

Both good shouts! I think lundstram would be perfect because he’s better than Nakamba and Lansbury, but this season has shown he’s about the same level as Hourihane. But still a good squad player!

Osayi Samuel would be another good squad player, I just worry that if we are buying a winger, they should be better than what we already have, then drop Trez and El Ghazi to the bench. Our first 11 is class as has shown, but we don’t have anyone to change a game from the bench, if we add another quality winger (Sarr, Rashica, Stengs) then all of a sudden we have the energy of Trez to come of the bench, or the technical ability and goal threat of El Ghazi. Horses for courses and the more options the better!

Apparently Osayi Samuel could be off to Crystal Palace if the rumours are right, his mate Eze being there and let's be honest, he's almost guaranteed first team football, cheap deal for Palace as well, wish we did sign him Villa John; good shout.
