Hi all, hope you're all well. Right! Our beloved Villa have been 'shoddy in my opinion since O'Neil. Average owners, poor recruitment and players who didn't perform. We sold our best players on a regular basis and we nearly went bust too. We now have rich owners who are willing to invest, recruitment and academy overhaul, our best players renewing contracts, a manager who loves the club and not just there for his own agenda or who would be unemployed otherwise. Regardless of what happened with his skills last season he has met his targets of getting us promoted, keeping us up, got to a cup final and building for the future. We needed a whole team last year and this year we need 9 new players ( this is not going to happen for various reasons but we are heading in the right direction) . We have seen many false dawns but this genuinely feels different. Based on the evidence we should all be happy that at least at last the club is trying to get us to be better in the right way! VTID!
