West Ham terminating Jack Wilshere's contract, I know he is a tad injury prone but how about signing him as a squad player on a pay as you play basis. Thoughts?

He’s that injury prone John, I’m not sure he’d get through a game. Maybe paying him by the minute on the pitch might be a safer bet, considering his salary at WHU was 100,000 a week.
It’s a shame because he’s so gifted, but in all honesty I think his Premier league days are over.

A tad injury prone? When was he last fit? In the under 11s?! I’m being flippant, sorry. but for me it’d be Danny Drinkwater all over again. No doubt a talented player, but when you’re so far off fitness, it doesn’t go well. Take a read of the Telegraph interview with Drinkwater, some interesting stuff in there about his time at Villa 😬.

No chance of a pay as you play deal, does any player even have a contract like that in the premier league, he will want to line his pockets before he hangs his boots up he will get a regular contract somewhere easily, we need players that “are going to be” or “are” not “used to be’s” in my opinion.
