I hope, Southgate gives Mings, a kick up the arse, by not picking him . As Iv said before, he used to be, big strong no nonsense CH . Since England call up, he struts about thinking he's world class . Why can't he get back doing, what got him called up . Deano has to stop this zonal marking, go back to man marking . Time and again we have their tallest players, against our smallest, with Mings standing on his own, Stupid play .

Daved we can all see it and the sad part is deano has almost certainly "dug his own grave". We are 20th in all defensive categories and no signs of any improvement in fact we are getting worse. It's probably too late to save things and being brutal we are at the moment the worst team in the league by a country mile. Deano has to go its too late for anyone to save us but we could restore some pride, which we are sadly lacking. We have become a joke and fully deserve the criticism from both our fans and pundits. We have a team of misfits. A clown in goal a back four that are the worst defensive unit in the league a midfield that is powder puff and a non existant attack. I witnessed one of the worst performances I can remember and unless there is change I won't renew my season ticket which I have held for decades and I know I won't be alone.

Despite the 'Deano Out' sentiments being regularly expressed on this forum, the only people that have the ability to do that are the owners and Purslow. CP was very clear a couple of weeks ago that Deano was part of the long-term strategy for the club, hence the new contract. This strategy is a 5-6 year plan that aims to see us regularly competing at the very top level (Champions League etc. ) and not just praying that we scrape a relegation-zone 1-0 win on a wet Wednesday night. Without venturing too far into clap-trap business jargon, the strategy is a 'journey' which is not destined to go in a straight line. CP said that it would probably have it's 'ups and downs' and the implication was that one of the 'down's' could quite literally be that, i. e. down to the Championship and back again. I stand to be shot down, but this is why I don't think Deano is going anywhere soon.
