Gotta laugh at News Now. PSG are flying in to discuss a swap deal for Durán and Muami + cash, so we're going to take on their player they don't want who's on £200K per week, cup tied for CL, laughable ? the other 1 being touted is a Japanese striker on a free transfer, he looks decent tbf and from a marketing point of view would be a good acquisition ??♂️

{Ed001's Note - regarding the cup tied, can't you register one player who has played for another team in the comp already?}

{Ed001's Note - I think it is one player, but it might have changed.}

I read this article and can’t work out what this deal is.
PSG signed Muani for €75m + €15m add-ons which presumably they won’t have to pay ‘cos he hasn’t done anything for them.
Are they offering Muani plus cash for Duran or is it Duran plus cash for Muani?
I don’t know if I want to lose Duran or not.

If we are going to lose Duran I’d rather the cash and be able to go buy an in form player from a lesser club, Duran money could buy us a class winger and another young striker as backup to Watkins. That’s 2 positions sorted and surely we can afford a defender especially if we sell a player or 2.

I agree Whack, I think the links with Kolo Muani are fanciful as why would he accept not being in a similar position to what he is in at PSG ie not an automatic choice. I think we will let Duran go as rumours continue about his attitude behind the scenes, that being the case better he goes now for a premium fee. If it has to be a player plus cash deal then I would take Asensio, Emery was interested in him previously and he can play anywhere across the midfield. PSG want about £25 million for him that would mean we could ask for another £30-35 million as cash, and I’d look to use that money to get a second striker someone like Delap of Ipswich big strong front man good back up for Watkins.
