Going to be interesting this, I can’t see him not getting replaced with a real statement signing. exciting times, dani olmo is another I wouldn’t be surprised to see if it wasn’t Williams, Emery and Monchi plus champions league is a huge pull for Spanish talent.

Based on Williams’s Euro performances, I’d drive over to Bilbao and fetch him back myself, though Barcelona and Arsenal are also in the picture ?

I would pay Williams at the very least whatever it was we agreed to pay Coutinho tbh.I’d love him at Villa though, but I think he will end up at Barcelona, especially after how well he partnered with Yamal.

To reply to trinity I would say central defence is probably our strongest position already no?
Torres, Konsa, Carlos, Mings? One of the best 4s in the league. It’s a RB and a couple of attacking players I think we are lacking personally.

Pretty sure Williams is wanting 350k not 250k along with a rather significant signing on fee which I’d imagine would be towards the £10m mark.

@Nebu if Mings returns the player he was before his injury, I agree, but it is an unknown at this stage. Not saying we should buy just in case but we might have to if he struggles in pre-season if he even features?
