Spanish press linking us with Villarreal midfielder Alex Baena. Apparently he's in the top 1% of midfielders over the past year in terms of total shots per game averaging 2.87. They value him at £43m, but if he's genuinely an outstanding attacking midfielder, he may be worth it ?

He's very good Menace, I've watched him a few times - Not sure he's exactly what we need but what do I know, if Emery wants him that's good enough for me. I think Barcelona are after him as well so, like all our reported targets, we have serious competition for him. I'm taking every link with a pinch of salt though, the majority are utter bo**ocks in my opinion, seen us linked with Chiesa last night, not for one second do I believe that link for example.
