AVFC want 2 or 3 additions in the window, Buendia is an option, McNeil being looked at. City like Grealish but Villa are relaxed about the situation. - Gregg Evans for The Athletic.

Gregg has a hit and miss history, Buendia would be great, McNeil has more game time than Traore but less Goals and Assists, surely we want more if we are buying someone for the first team? I hope all targets are of this standard though, it's what we need. Any talk of 5/ 6 players was ridiculous, no mention of a defensive midfielder yet, which is worrying as most see it as our priority position, alongside a 10.

Owners will want silly money for Grealish, only probably 3 clubs in this league will pay, can't see it happening myself but Pep does say that to get continued success you have to change players and shake it up every season, so who knows.

We have owners who are interested in the club winning things so I don’t believe large offers for Grealish will faze them at all!

I don’t think it will be down to the owners I think Jack will determine what Jack wants to do, hopefully that will be staying with us, but linking up with England and rubbing shoulders with the City players may influence his view and he may look to follow Harry Kane and leave his boyhood club.

If you’re right John, the best way to sway Jack to stay would be to bring in 2 or 3 quality players ASAP.
If he could see a squad of players capable of pushing for the European places next season, I think he would want to be a part of that.

I agree with the Grealish situation. IF Citeh come in with a very large bid and he is starstruck, it could happen.

McNeil’s stats look average, but he is in a low scoring side. I think he would contrast well with Buendia.

I see Monchengladbach are interesting in Rashica. Personally, I would rather pass on him (yes, I did mean pass) after last season’s fiasco. I know he would be cheap, but….

I think 3 or 4 players is max we will see. Problem is for that though is that we will be waiting for a while and start to panic. Need a LB to cover Targett/ push him. I think now that trez is out we need another winger or 2 depending if we keep Jack (I think we will) and put him CAM like Dean has been.

So most likely I see 2 wingers, LB and a CAM coming in.

Tammy is vey unlikely, and will only be bought if we put jack at 10 imo.
