Now here's a thought.

According to most sources, Jack is currently on 100k per week.
If he gave up half of that for 6 months, that would be about £1.25m (still leaving him with £3.75m for the year) which, by my reckoning would fund about 40 additional healthcare staff for a full year. Now that's what I would call a useful penance for his recent dick-headedness.

That's a good call Menace, it seems you can put a price on stupidity. Also there's an interesting read on Vital Villa titled 'the messiah or a very naughty boy" well worth a read.

Read the article Moose. I agree with Juan Pablo Angels response to it. He is captain of our club and should lead by example not just on the pitch but off it as well. If he is incapable of doing that then he shouldn’t be captain of our great club.
Why should having wonderful god given ability give him a divine right to just do as he pleases. He is a very lucky person to be blessed with such ability, so is this the way to show his gratitude for that?

I think therein lies the problem Mark, they may be grateful when they first start out but once they get that big break they're all "Bertie big b######s" and start to feel they're entitled to it. Even some clubs youngsters get more than we'll earn in a month or more ie Uniteds "Baby Bentley brigade " I appreciate that most live exemplary lives on and off the pitch but the captain of our club is its figurehead and good sensible, behaviour is a small price to pay for a very lucrative career.

Great Idea, but Grealish`s wages are nowhere near £100,000
He is on about £35,000 a week MD.
Still worth doing what you suggest, only over a longer period.

Dave I bet he’s not on 35k a week.

You may be right Tom, but according to the club wage structure, Tom Heaton is top earner on £42,000 mate.
