Lampard confirms that Ampadu is going out on loan. I assume that means he wants game-time, but is he experienced enough to do us any favours at the back?

We are now up to 5 centre backs so the only way I see him coming is for a DM spot. If we get Douglas or Marvelous then Ampadu carries on being a bench warmer. If we take Suso and Purslow for their word then I just can't see this happening.
