Got to say I'm ashamed of the villa fans today. In what way does constant booing and jeering help the situation and the players no matter how dire they are. You should always support your side and try and help them out of this mess. I bet they dred playing at villa park and that's supposed to be our home the 12th player rore them on and intimidate the opposite side not your own players. Sort it out people show a bit of class show we are a big club and some of the best support in the world not a load of crying baby's saying we should be this should be that. Not good enough fellow fans and a disgrace sorry .

Well I for one am shocked.
I actually agree with kingvilla!!

09 Jan 2016 15:59:21
I've agreed with him several times over the past few months. It's an imposter; has to be.

09 Jan 2016 16:00:14
Well said Kingvilla, by the way.

09 Jan 2016 16:17:33
Well said kingvilla, we are dire but let's stick to gallows humour and leave the booing for the last days of panto at the Hippodrome! Has anyone got any more matchstick jokes!?

09 Jan 2016 16:41:27
Well said kingvilla. had to be said but I prefer it when your telling us who's coming to the villa!

Think of it this way, yes you can sit from afar and bemoan those who are booing the team but what have we to cheer about? I've been to 7 games this season, and although yes villa park still bounces for the odd ten minutes, much of the time, we the paying fans, are bored. And let's be honest from a fans point of view you kind of hope that a third of the way thorugh the transfer window you'd hope to see progress but no. We are watching a club fall from grace, paying ridiculous wages to players who can't even make the bench, lacking managers who can't see the obvious.

So sure take the high road and criticise fellow fans who are fed up with, no goals, no investment, no style, nothing, You say we are a big club but according to whom?

09 Jan 2016 17:37:38
Moan from afar?? lol
This is only the second game I've missed all season!
And I'm sorry, I think it counterproductive to boo, jeer and criticise a player before a match has started.
Explain how this motivates them to try harder? Go the extra mile? Or in fact to even give a s**t??

And for your information, factually we are a massive club, in stature, in honours, fan base and history of the game.
I agree we are not living up to these facts, at present, but, look at the way man Citeh fell from grace, to where they are now. It can happen.

hey fair enough if you are a season ticket holder then okay, but you can't tell me that you're not pissed off? i don't boo, because i play rugby for uni and i hate getting booed. but seriously how on earth has it gotten to the point where we actually take solace in the fact that other clubs have fallen apart? Why do we have to fall apart? This should not have happened surely? And in terms of a big club we've been relying on history for almost 40 years now. Now sure in terms of a fan base we have the 9th largest (on average) home attendance but surely that's even worse? There is a real problem at villa park right now and it stems from the top, unfortunately we can cling to hope and argue that we shouldn't boo, but come on.

Plus the whole huge club with lots of history means shit if you can't score a goal, we may be of relative importance in england, at least till the end of this season, but elsewhere in the world we aren't, i mean, benteke thought we were in london.

You said.
"So sure take the high road and criticise fellow fans who are fed up with, no goals, no investment, no style, nothing, You say we are a big club but according to whom?"

So I posted fact.

And I never said I was happy in what's going on at our club, and no one here has, ever!
I said booing the playing staff, before, or during the game is wrong.
And I commented on your comment on preaching from afar.

My views are this players are out of order laughing at fans who rightly or wrongly were venting their anger that just shows they don't give a damn about our club and if I were manager I'd drop them for that. Then I'm disgusted with the way the fans acted too no need to go on the way they did yes vent anger but in pub with the lads not like that the club is rotton from the chairman through the board and needs a complete overhaul but we need to support our team. Remi should now realise it's pretty impossible to stay up and blood the youngsters who we loan out to championship clubs they will do ok for us get rid of dead wood like Westwood bacuna guzan richardson nzogbia gabby Hutton and lescot and 1 more richards I know u will hate me for that 1 but he's been at fault this season for many goals.

09 Jan 2016 21:56:14
Who sits from afar I'm at every home game and 80% of the away games. And no matter how we all feel there is still no excuse for the booing and the way the fans are being. Yes we all work hard in our own fields of work. If you were to be doing you job good or bad would you like it if someone was booing you the whole time you were doing it. And then it gets worse while getting on coach for trip back. Total disgrace.

10 Jan 2016 06:27:13
Some of us have to sit from afar. Doesn't mean we care any less or are lesser fans. Those of you who can attend the games represent all of us as fans, and as Kingy rightly points out what happened at today's game was unacceptable.

10 Jan 2016 21:13:23
Agree the fans abuse was too far, the fan in the incident at Sunderland was bad, chanting "your not fit to wear the shirt" around the bus was fair enough but targeting individuals with foul language was too far, the fans around the dug out trying to target lescott and Guzan was justified in my opinion, both of them laughing while we're drawing and playing like a league 2 side is appalling! Fair play to Micah for taking the time to speak to them, but he needs to realise he's the captain an give them all a reality check! The fan at the end of the game as the players are getting on the bus swearing and blinding was well out of order, the way bacuna acts throughout the whole season has been disgusting just look at his social media accounts but rar targeting him like that won't help, and as for Gustede telling fans to F off as he walks down the tunnel, whatever they said to him after his performance the last few games and throughout the season he should not be retaliating to anyone! Long post but the way the club is at the minute I don't think there's enough words to be used that can describe how fans feel, people working hard all week to spend their money to get away from it all an their forced to watch people who they know their money is paying thousands in their wage packet play like they don't care and don't understand what it means. Heart breaking.

Not posted for such a long time pain continues so bad so on, Buttt I was shocked at the away fans reactions say, what did they expect a 10-0 reality was playing a lower squad knowing we are sh** no confidence etc etc pitch was awful to play on top, but when you hear fans saying to Garde "don't know what your doing" with subs taking Gil of Ayew on i was ashamed A:Gil most creative B: ayew when came on was energetic, goal thinking mad. Its the FA CUP look at Liverpool Friday night. Because we are Villa dosent mean we walk over teams, yes we are seriously awful in Prem to date but negativity will filter through and players, manager don't need added STRESS. Its tough I know but you pee me off I won't work harder if you know what I mean.

14 Jan 2016 10:25:48
As shambolic as the first half of the season has been I'm going to stick by the lads and if that means from the championship ill still be sticking by the team even when the chips are down. This is 'your' team and ill be damned if we'll go down without a fight.

i've been a supporter at the villa since 1974 (the bad old days of div 3, the crap we're in now is nothing to where we were then. a bank behind one goal where supporters stood in mud on old railway sleepers and no roof. but still we came got behind the team and enjoyed the miracle of a return to the very top. we've never been a yo-yo club and i hope we never will be fact; we were a big club, now we're not wannabees. look at the trophies the likes of sheff wednesday, huddersfield town won. we're a club with a fancy training ground, a nice stadium, a shit team, owner, eecutive. say what you will booing, cheering or not, if a player can't/ won't do it, rip it up and start again cheer or boo, it makes no difference, its the players that have got to do the job, not us. if i was as crap in my job as they are in theirs, i'd be sacked, the same should apply to them. sack the poor performers taking our money and delivering bugger all sorry guys, rant over.
