let it be known these are just rumours I hear. It's not like I'm running round the country looking for pro footballers heading towards VP. I just type what I hear. I'm skeptical on the Limbombe rumour, but apparently he was scouted whilst we were looking at Benteke. Hoolahan deal looks a bit odd seeing as he is on the decline. Hopefully Kiyotake might happen

You're my hero! Not! I told all of you about Defour in the Summer. I was mocked!

Agree3 Disagree18

Haha Well Defour didn't come in the summer, that might be why you was mocked.

Agree11 Disagree2

You may have told us but obviously nothing happened, they're rumours not fact mate :)

Agree2 Disagree0

Looks like defour isn't intrested mate

Defour to be in by Mondays game. Arrived today for talks with the club. Another one surfacing is a possible loan move for Richards off man city till end of season. I'd love this one to come off as really rate the player.

Believable3 Unbelievable19

Kingvilla you have just ruined my afternoon. There I was thinking that we may be having a go to get a "name" and you put in your post.
Obviously it now cannot happen.

Also Richards is a supporter of the dark side of the city. Remember his header a few seasons ago against Villa. He was the happiest man in B'ham that night

Agree12 Disagree1

Yep was an fa cup tie v mcfc and he was an unknown 17 year old at the time. hate him, good player though.

Agree2 Disagree0

Would we take him on loan?

Wes Hoolahan has handed in a transfer request.
Defour is in Birmingham Airport
Anthony Limbombe spoke to officials yesterday

VTID

only Hoolahan is definite

Believable9 Unbelievable19

True on defour

Agree8 Disagree12

Very much hope that means Defour is coming but Hoolihan is far from certain as it seems from reports today that Norwich have turned down our offer and refused to accept a written transfer request from the player, who apparantly wants to join us and link up again with Lambert.

Agree4 Disagree3

Limbombe has been mentioned on a few occasions now. Interesting.

Agree1 Disagree3

Alexberb1, you sounded out Limbombe a month ago now and you've told us today he's spoken to officials. Good work mate. Always reliable. Is it looking promising then? Hoolahan looking a cert and Defour, I'm still unsure.

Check the NCFC website. There is a clear statement from the Chief Exec that no transfer request has been received from any player and that Norwich are looking to build the squad not sell any players.

Agree4 Disagree4

They'll be loads going on behind scenes, clubs like covering up their truths to keep it hush hush. got to be something in it

Agree3 Disagree2

Anthony Limbombe?
At the risk of repeating myself do we REALLY need yet another practically unknown foreign winger?
Surely we have higher priorities with our apparantly limited funds.
Clarrie Blue.

Agree8 Disagree3

I note that Liam Bridcutt, with whom we have been linked on numerous occasions in the past has today submitted a written transfer request to Brighton.
Presumably we can now expect to be linked with his signing in the near future.
Clarrie Blue.

Agree1 Disagree4

I like a good conspiracy as much as the next person. However, David McNally makes very few public pronouncements and when he does his track record shows he means it. So, when he says Norwich, ". …. have no intention of releasing any of our senior players. " I think you can take that to the bank.

Agree7 Disagree1

Norwich have apparantly rejected Villa's bid for Hoolihan as derisory.
It was reported to be either £750,000 in cash or £1 million in instalments.
Talk about trying to do everything on the cheap. This has the hand of Lerner and his don't spend a penny if a halfpenny will do policy all over it.
Clarrie Blue.

Agree6 Disagree3

Sunderland chasing Bridcutt, the manager knows the boy.

Agree4 Disagree1

The only trip to the bank Norwich will take is to bank the Hoolihan transfer fee.

Agree2 Disagree6

Bridcutt and Poyet supposedly have the same agent so that deal will fly through once fees agreed. Think its a non starter in terms of Villa trying to sign him.

Agree4 Disagree1

Also stated in the Norwich statement is Norwich will not be selling any player and refuse to do business with Lambert or Villa we are still waiting the out come of the Jed steer issue, So Villa fans in short you don't stand a chance Hoolahan still has 18 months to run on his contract anyway and From how the bitter feelings between our clubs mean Hoolahan is more likely to end up in the U21 squad for the remainder of his contract rather than let Villa have him, But as stated if any club want him it will cost £4mil Norwich have money to spend Villa fans must get rid of idea that we are Broke, Far from it, DEBTFREE and have funds available to use from last years budget ie £20 mil banked and another about the same to use now if required, if not it will roll over to the summer

Agree5 Disagree5

Maybe it has failed to cross your mind, but Norwich tried to block Lambert and Steer from joining Villa and they both left! I give Wes a week and he'll be in a villa shirt.

Agree2 Disagree5

With the hearing over Jed Steers' move to VP about to happen, and with Lamberts back against the wall, the liklihood of any deal being done between AVFC and NCFC is slimmer than a slim thing.

Has it occurred that Lambert came to VP at the time he'd run out of ideas in Norwich? - Recon he's done the same here, and all that he's doing is to try to deflect attention.

Agree3 Disagree0

Errr, Don't think Norwich knew much about Jed Steer coming to VP. that's why they are going to a tribunal.

Agree2 Disagree0

Now come on you canaries get a life. If Hoolahan decides to come to VP nobody will stop him. Many Villa fans wish they would as he is an old man playing out his days in the outskirts of civilisation.
The rumour gains momentum every day so I think you should say ta ta to him for 1.5m.
Dont think that anyone has said you are broke but the trip to the bank with £1.5m will brighten up your books.
I believe that it was one of your supporters that said " you can take it to the bank, " not a Villa supporter.

Agree1 Disagree2

You have a point. Money does talk. However, £750,000 - 1.5mil for a current international who is looming ever larger in Martin O'Neil's thinking plus his creative value on the pitch for Norwich, well, that sort of money isn't talking it is incoherently mumbling.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hoolahan is 31/32yo. He's not exactly going to get any better an isn't in Hughtons plans so why do you talk about him like he's a future star?
£2m max.

Agree4 Disagree1

So tat is why Hughton has said TODAY Hoolahan is a very big part I the team and will be in the team at Everton

Agree3 Disagree2

No transfer requests received this season - McNally

Agree2 Disagree0

£3mil + Benteke and he's yours ;)
