Rumours now that Villa could be after Nakhi Wells from Bradford. Definitely fits the Lambert mould of player young and hungry. Always looks lively when i've seen him play.
Will tear up my season ticket if this is true, just another jordan bowery. fed up with lower league players that can't cut it in prem.
Wells is far from Bowery as they come. Bowery wasn't even prolific in lower league football!
Wells is ten times the player Bowery is he has a record of 1 in 2 Bowery record of 1 in 9 I was hoping for a better striker but we all no we ain't got much money and for cheap options he is pretty decent if we can pull off the signings of lescott defour rincon and maybe holtby would be a very good window

I very much doubt that we will sign all those players. Probably two at the most, though I hope I'm wrong.
Defour would be good. As a fellow Belgian he may be able to buck Benteke up.

Villa seem to be closing in apparently on Lescott with a price varying from £4-6m. Lewis Holtby loan seems to be sinking but apparently remains as a plan b. Tomas Rincon rumours are gathering speed, a rather experienced right back valued at around £1m. Rumours also gathering pace of a move for Rickie Lambert at £4m.
