Villa attempting to secure a season long loan deal of Danny Rose

Danny rose is coming to the baggies... a likely deal... Fletcher would be a good buy, he would suit better at West Brom though. COYB

Danny rose is actually going southampton

Are you rating rose on what he done for team gb if so your an imbecile. He's a great player and hopefully we can buy him or we'll have another Kyle walker on our hands

Only just seen your reply to me. No, I didn't even watch any team GB games as I was more interested in the more appropriate Olympic events. He was awful whenever he played last season. He is a player living on the reputation of one wonder goal against Arsenal. Hardly makes me an imbecile just for having an opinion on the player that goes against your opinion

Villa bid 13m for Steven Fletcher

I don;t understand why he;s worth this amount of money, i don;t rate him at all

I cant disagree with this post, but greatly question the validity of the report on the radio. Surely it would have been made more of than a report. Movement between 2 midland clubs would greate massive interest in the Midlands.

Cause Fletcher is a game changer
He can come of the bench and win games
Agree3

I agree dont think hes worth 13mil but i definately do rate him great in the air bullies defenders and holds ball up well would defo welcome him down the villa but not at that price...
Agree2
Disagree1
Yea coz we are going to spend 13 mil on some1 to sit on the bench. Why dont we go for Berbatov or Defoe
Agree3
Disagree2
Can come off the bench and change the game? we need someone to start on the pitch to do this
Agree3

Big fish in a little pond. this player, in my opinion, could not improve the current villa squad.
Agree4
Disagree5
I don't believe that fletcher is a game changer. if he is, how come wolves only won 5 games last season with fletcher coming off the bench ready to win the game. this is probably because wolves were already 3-0 down.
Also i think the reason we haven't signed berbatov is because he wants to play in champions league. Though i would love defoe at villa park i think that tottenham will keep him due to lack of strikers and the mix up with the transfer of adebayor.

Fletcher for 13m no no no no, not worth 6m. don't do it lambert would be a backward step on the good work you have started, kenwyne jones is far better and would get him for 6m.. although would prefer defoe myself..
Agree1

13M for fletcher, lmfao. who works out these prices for players, cause you need to go wobble your head infront of a mirror. the hole of the wolves sqaud is probably worth 20m. 4/5M at most. we paid over the odds for bent cause we really needed him. we are not going to pay over the odds for a player we dont need. bent is only only worth around 15m. so 13M for fletcher. grow up. lol

Fletcher is a typical MON signing. He has some quality but is grossly overpriced and will presumably be on a huge pay packet.

Who on earth would pay £12m for Fletcher?
Martin Oneill thats who!

Id rather us go for rhodes, take a gamble around 4million

Fletcher please no lambert don't do it! I'd take kenwyne jones for 4-6mil definately over fletcher! Watch out for reserve player Adam Rando pacey winger coming through the ranks

The reason for 12 million for Fletcher is double figures 3 years on the trot ( with teams best placed finish 4th bottom who struggled to score goals). He had the 5th highest shot per goal ratio in top flight european football. Not bad for a target man who you can play an out and out goalscorer off. When the Bent, Downing, Carroll, Henderson etc deals went through the resultant outcome was you forced the price up for the likes of Fletcher and Jarvis. So if you think its too much you only have yourselves to blame.
