We have to get rid of Mcleish
What 1/2 decent team would keep a manager who had presided over a set of results and style of play that we have had to endure this season.
Keeping Mcleish would send out a signal to fans and players that we will accept mediocrity and that merely staying in the league is considered success.
It's not a crime that Mcleish is not capable of managing in the premier league. The crime would be in letting him have another stab at it
Get shot, now !

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Blue noses or Mcleish himself disagreeing with that, get hom out of our club now. We will NEVER accept him

Lambert is the numer one target, failing that, Rafa Benitez who is very interested, villa just wary of wages.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Obviously you never watched Goals on Sunday, today anyone could see he is staying at Norwich so dream on Dummies

Agree4 Disagree5

Benitez would be a good appointment as long as we get someone else to oversea transfers.

Agree3 Disagree2

To the first guy, I never said he wass coming did I? I said he was the number one target, it would take a lot of persuading for him to come.
To the second, well Damien Comoli was apparently in at the game today as Lerners guest, could mean something?

Agree1 Disagree2

Would anyone give hoddle/wilkins a shot

Villa are set to approach Ron Atkinson in the summer as Director of football at the club, it's been said that Atkinson could be offered £2million a season. His first job could be to find a new manager for the club.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Mr Bojangles knows less about football than my Grandmother. He paid £500,014 for a player from M'Boro named David Mills, then it is said, forgot to pick him for the Baggies. First half mill player! He was very good at the odd phrase eg. early doors, but actual footie, pick my Grandma!!!

Villa are one of 4 teams looking at Miroslav Stoch of Fenerbahce, the others are believed to be Reading, Everton and Fulham.

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Good player, surprised he never made it at chelsea, would be healthy competition for N'zogbia. hope we are in for him, thought it does seem like an everton transfer/gamble.

Former Italy goalkeeper and national team coach Dino Zoff has throw his hat into the ring regarding the managers job at Villa Park according to some sources.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

A 70 Year old man who hasn't managed in any other league except for italy and hasnt managed in nearly 7 years. i really doubt that

Agree5 Disagree2

There was a rumor on here a while back saying Randy Learner is good friends with Zoff, all sounds bizarre tbh, though some of these old school italian bosses seem very strict and thats no doubt what the current squad need.
