We're being linked with Mattia Destro from Roma again, who are willing to let him go for around 6 and a half million. I think we should rip their arm off personally!

We have been linked to Destro a few weeks ago but not seen anything since,I would love AVFC to sign him huge talent will compliment our forward line perfectly.
I do believe there is something in this as Destro is looking to leave Roma and the arrival of Dzeko from Man City means its more than likely Destro will be on the move.

100k a week on a lad that's only got a few years of footy left and not a great track record for last few years or 80k on a lad in mid twentys had good couple seasons and looks like could get better

Amavi might have wanted a specific number - Alexander Mitrovic took number 45 at Newcastle because '4+5=9'. I wouldn't read too much into the numbers TBH.

I was listening to talk sport yesterday coming home from work and Tim vickery came on (South American football expert) regarding South American footballers linked with permiership teams. He mentioned a CB that villa are linked with from river plate but didn't catch the name. Did anyone else hear this? Tim vickers quoted "if I was a villa fan linked to this player I would be very excited"

I'm hearing this morning that we are set to rival sunderland for the loan signing of Adnan Januzaj. He is available on loan for the season and I feel would be a great player for us this season if this one comes off. Also been told that we are about to scrap deal for adebayor and go all out for Austin. Hope this is true myself but we will see.
