Villa have had a 8.5 million bid accepted for kiyotake, would be a great signing, has flair and a creative spark. Danny Guthrie has also been mentioned to stabilize the midfield

Dear Villa Dave, I'm so surprised at your retort, not your usual calm & considered response, is the inaccuracy in some of these post's starting to grate, come and join the rest of us for a beer, it doesn't stop the exaggeration, but honestly, I worry about it less afterwards.

Actually that would be handy if he is the singer/songwriter, perhaps he could compose some uplifting ditty's for us to sing next season and if they were really good we could enter them in the eurovision song competition and win another european trophy That would be cool! (Nigel Kennedy could be our musical director as well) blimey!

Hi all.
Thanks for your comment, It is not meant to be anything else than calm, I am just keeping it short and sweet to make a point that most of us villa fans already know.
A beer sounds good.
Just a mention let's hear a few names of people who are posting
it helps with replies
Dave

Lerner has jetted into Birmingham reportedly to talk to Paul Faulkner & Paul Lambert over the Kiyotake situation. Lerner is expected to make significant funds available to make a deal possible, Kiyotake is apparently optimistic of a move to Aston Villa & see's Villa as a new challenge for himself to overcome.

If rich Uncle Randy has indeed flown in, I would imagine it would be to add his influence to the Benteke situation.

Seems to be some weight to this rumour and and while it has been speculated they have rejected a 7.5m offer from us (other reports denying any bid made) sources suggest a figure closer to 8.5m may be acceptable. I suggest we .

And how do you know this

Has Uncle Randy brought his book on motivational speaking with him?

No book on motivation, just been confirmed, Uncle Randy has indeed brought his cheque book along with him this time (top man).

Dont slate me for this just stating what birmingham mail says. no offer has been made for kiyotake as yet and a deal looks unlikely but obviously they rarely get anything right.

Aston Villa are set to sign Danny Guthrie from Reading for an undisclosed fee.
(c&p from another page) so?

Randy Lerner has not flown in so far

Rich Uncle Randy has probably bought his cheque book & chains to keep the Beast of Benteke at Villa!
Villa haven't bid for Kiyotake just enquired, but I think if we do make an offer - it'll really be upto the player as he might really feel he wants to make the jump (or not?)

We'v got to get this guy! not had the creative magician since merse played for us.
Even from a marketing point of view he would boost attendances, product sales and fanbase from across the globe.

Danny Guthrie? dear god I hope not! call me crazy but I think i'd rather barry bannan!
Agree7

Not the biggest fan of Guthrie over but he did have a decent spell on loan at Bolton a few years back.
Unlike a previous comment, I would have him over Bannan all day long (and KEA for that matter) who is an awful footballer.
I would suggest if we did sign Guthrie then it is to strengthen the squad because I can't see him gettting a game ahead of Westwood, Deplh, Sylla and Bacuna.

Alright then your crazy, no disrespect to Barry though.

I'm feeling inferior here, I don't even know who Danny Guthrie is, I thought he was a singer/songwriter.

We'll I wouldn't call him a footballer either! But still better than little orange bannan.

Okay maybe I was going a little far, disagree with the el ahmadi comment though, he's a good player the prem is just way too fast for him! Maybe he'll get used to it.

Kindest inoffensive insult ever on this site, Barry Bannan will now be known as "We orange man". Mate your a genius.
