So steve clarke doesn't fall on his sword and is now the caretaker manager, the same steve clarke who is primarily a defensive coach? loyalty? am i the only one thinking clarkey may have been feathering his own nest with the powers that be to position himself?

because i never heard a dickie bird from him since the day he joined. like people say, so much for it being the beautiful game with honour and trust. i think clarkey and dr. tony are well suited for sure.

i don't rate steve clarke at all big sam or tim sherwood 4 me hope steve clarke don't get the job. This club is not going in the right direction.

Never mind his blues background, it has to be Steve Bruce! It will be fun to hear him say how big Villa is which is something he never said about Blues, and if he gets us promotion can you imagine the Scene at Small Heath pig farm! Hate him they would kill him!

Can i just say, shame on you to Steve Clarke. you were brought in to look after the defensive aspect of the squad. hang your head in shame, club physio, you need to get with the new methods of dealing with players' injuries.

To our so called directors - a jellyfish has more of a spin than you lot.

To Dr. Tony - you've done all you said you would (so far), but just a quick note; whoever the new incumbent is, do us a favour and stop turning up to the training ground on a whim; talking (distracting) to the players and asking the manager to give you updates. Thats called being really annoying

And stop giving pep talks and leaving video messages when youre not there, that the players have to sit through. their levels of concentration aren't that good to begin with!

Seems Steve Round is willing to help out if called upon. don't know much about him apart from he is very astute in regards to defensive awareness apparently.

And secondly Neil Warnock has been mentioned in dispatches if Steve Bruce declines the position. outside bet, lee johnson and also bob bradley mentioned too.

Bob Bradley is the new Swansea manager.

Thank God for that. No chance of him becoming ours then.

Nice to see dr. tony starting to show the real class act he is by saying he appointed rdm because there was no one else out there, and the club were 'forced' into the appointment.

dr. tony is beginning to worry me again now, either that or he has a split personality with control issues, he must be related to the leeds owner!

Where did he say that?

Just a quick heads up on david wagner, pure class, brilliant at dortmund, gone to huddersfield to make his bones, However, alas, top clubs in europe already taking a big interest in him, so, if we get rid of rdm (hope not, bring in warnock to help with his education), i think chances of wagner might be a tad slim.

Sorry mate Wagner isn't the right man. Huddersfield are the early form team who will run out of steam at about 20 - 25 games, it happens in the premiership every year when an unfancied team plays out of their skins for 5 minutes! Leicester aside how many last the pace?

We need proven experience and if anyone looks any further than Steve Bruce they don't understand football, never mind the Championship!

Can't disagree about bruce's record, but wagner is class, they probably will fade, but that's more to do with the financial constraints he's working under. i say again, he's going to be mega.
