Well the championship trophy is coming to Villa Park but its not for us hopefully. some of these losers we have down there at the moment who choose not to show up for certain games will look at Brighton and try and aspire to what they have done.

Yes on paper we have a good team but we don't show the heart like Brighton to be a champion you have to want it and work hard only player who can say has worked hard all season is Alan Hutton. As a club no matter what anybody says we have failed this season from chairman to managers to players.

No excuses next season Chairman as made mistakes both managers have made mistakes and the players have more on an off days than my mrs at the end of the month! At least Dr. Tony is giving us a free beer but to be honest I would rather I was drinking to us going up rather than just his a beer for sticking by us!

Got to disagree about the chairman, manager. However the players are the ones that have to take the brunt of the critisism. The chairman backed both managers to the hilt. As for the bruce he came in and did the best that he could with players not of his choosing. Give him a break, allow him to bring in a few players that are of his choosing then judge him. with a few of his own players to go with what was brought in, in january think we are going to have a promotion chasing team. Have faith, keep the faith.

I'm sure your good lady of the house is over the moon with how diplomatic you can be!

None of Steve Bruce's signings have made a difference so far Steve Bruce even said they have been with us for 4 months now and expects better. Yes the chairman has spent money but it's all been wasted because he picked the wrong managers.

Even Steve Bruce said after the Blackburn game I have to look at myself as well questioning his own performance as manager! We have average players on huge wages.

The chairman is a very good chairman at spending money but because ge knows nothing about football unfortunately it's going to waste! The teams we are losing to is a joke. I expect next season to go exactly as it has this season Bruce will get the sack and we will get somebody in by then be to late.

Steve Bruce has not got a style of play if anybody knows it tell me. Hogan is example of this he just bought a man in form not to fit a style of play we have no real width and our only style seems to be boot it up an hope for the best!

Wtw, you must have a twin matey, because earlier you said he was the man for the job? if i didn't know better, i'd say your on the wind-up you rascal!

I am not saying his not the man for the job I said his record buys him time but is his football borring yes has any of his signings worked? Not really. Does he get results sometimes. Do i think he will get us up not playing like this. Do I like him as a guy yes his honest he trys and trys but at the moment he has no style of play and his buying players based on form not to fit a style of play if he gets off to a bad start next season he won't last long and he knows it.

Answer this if you are a player for him would it fill you with confidence that he openly comes out and says his own performance as manager might not be good enough to manage Aston Villa? You wouldn't get Rafa Bentez saying that. We keep saying we are a big club can we start acting like 1 then? The manager the players are all worried whether they are good enough for our club if you have to ask that your not good enough!

Wtw - a salient point, but let's say your the chairman and you decide to frisbee bruce off into the sunset, who is out there who has a reputation that precedes him, has a wealth of experience, has the contacts, has a track record for promotions, commands respect from the players and knows how to deal with sometimes loony toon chairmen, and has learned not to get too excited when winning, and not too despondent when losing, what manager is out there who covers all that and isn't gamefully employed already, on top of that what manager whose a success is willing to drop into the championship, where keeping players fit and healthy trumps playing attractive football.

And on top of that you'd have to pay a good few pennies to get them to come on down, now moyesy will be available very soon, but somehow to me his style wouldn't be much of an improvement, so stick or twist, you either stay with brucey or go overboard and get in either a young dynamic coach (Jaap Stam for instance, or wagner or Garry Monk, ) or a foreign coach if you got the cahoonas to roll the dice, so 'walkies', the floor is yours, what do ya say?

Its a tough one I know what your saying but judging on performances I can't see us going up. Roberto Mancini or somebody of that statue. What Iam saying is we are a huge club we need a manager and players that are not scared of playing or managing Aston Villa. I like Carlos Angelotti aswel. Players we should be in for Defoe or of that statue.

Carlos Ancelotti? Last 3 jobs PSG, Bayern and Real Madrid. I like him to, I like Messi and Ronaldo aswell reckon they'll come?

Patrick Roberts - on loan at Celtic, can't imagine he'd get into Man City's team, was brought at the same time as delph to fill home grown quota. May have interest from Prem Clubs and as he came from Fulham in the championship might see it as a step back, however would be brilliant if we could get him on loan.
Bertrand Traore - on loan at Ajax from Chelsea, looks similar to Atsu (on loan at Newcastle)

We currently have 2 wingers at the club, green and Adomah, near enough every team in the top 6 have out and out wide men, we need more options out there and competition for places, there's two quality options where we would only have to pay a portion of their wages. Also nearly every team in the top 6 seem to have utilised the loan market, a lot of the players that are good quality in the league can't make it in the prem (Bamford etc) so loaning a few (1 or 2) and then losing them when they help us go up wouldn't be such a bad thing, as I'd back Tony to provide funds for quality replacements.
