Sky reporting fulham as firm favourites and have put us as in the running for left back aly cissokho although I feel Luna will do well, I would rather use money towards wijnaldum

Why are villa not taking caulker he would be perfect at the back as pre season has shown although very good going forward we still can't defend ticks all of lamberts criteria young and obviously hungry to play if he is going to sign for Cardiff I feel we have missed a trick here

Agree9 Disagree2

We aren't going to be in for cissokho because we have bennett and luna, also caulker is apparently going for around £8million which lambert won't spend on a player like him (btw I do rate caulker highly), the only player he'll spend that much on is our marquee signing e. g. Wijnaldum or Kiotake (forgive me, I forgot how to spell his name)

Rumour has it that Wigan are interested in Stephan Ireland, part exchange with Villa to pay Cash as well for James McCarthy ed any truth in this

Agree5 Disagree9

Well seeing as wigan want 20mil for mccarthy we would have to pay 19mil plus ireland then because no way that lazy boy is worth more than a million. so this 'rumour' has clearly been made up

Rumoured even amongst the Aston Villa players and staff is that Geroginio Wijnaldum is Paul Lambert's/Fans preferred choice as our Attacking Midfielder.

Faulkner's & Lerner are understood to be undecided if to make their move now or wait until finalizing the Bent exit.

Personally I'd say just take a leaf outta Nike's book and JUST DO IT!

This a a top player in the making, exciting/skillful/technically gifted/unpredictable with loads of room for improvement.

I also believe we already have cover for him in the mould of Samir Carruthers

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Id like to see Carruthers have a run in the side from the beginning of the season. Throwing the lad in the deep end could be the making of him. The last thing we won't is him turning out like Bannan and never producing what was once promising.

Agree9 Disagree0

I would love this to be true but I can't see it. We have too many members if the Bomb Squad that we can't get rid of

Agree5 Disagree1

With the breakdown of moves for bannan and hutton over personal terms do we have a club of greedy *******s?

Agree9 Disagree0

Wijnaldum is more than a prospect he is a amazing talent he really does have everything he can go past people, score with either foot and is brilliant in the air he has been linked with us through both our scouts and vlaar I understand some talks have been held and he is keen but we are as said in previous posts waiting to free up the transfer funds

Agree7 Disagree0

Personally I think we will go back in with a final10m bid for kiyotake and see if the German outfit arms twisted. Kiyotake would be my preferred choice, proven in a better league, more of a consistent performer and a good player for marketing an PR.
