Belhanda has said he has the chance to play in the premiership and his decision will be imminent. That was a few days ago so we're all waiting patiently to hear from him or either club. No other premier league clubs have been linked to him like us so it's either Villa or Al Jazira. If we haven't got him before our pre season on July 7th, we probably won't get him.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

No other clubs interested like us? I work in London and all local papers are talkin about Spurs or Arsenal.

Surely the swiftness of our signing shows why we aren't signing Belhanda as this is dragging on. If we were interested and one of the teams who've bid it would have been sorted by now. Offers have been accepted and if we were one then it would have been done.

It ain't happening!

Agree5 Disagree7

I would be extremely disappointed if this deal did not go through

I know lambert likes signing almost unknown players that turn out good (bar Bennett) but for once could he sign an experienced player who WILL turn out good
do a Darren bent signing

Just don't drop him in 2 years

Agree3 Disagree0

As we are one of two front runners for him and in the prem where he wants to play i'd say we still have a chance. However, could it not be the case that it's belhanda himself holding out for another prem club to come in for him i. e spurs or arsenal?

Agree3 Disagree0

To be fair. Belhanda is a quality player who has had interest from many other clubs. Aston Villa have to be patient to await his decision but the fact that we have shown interest from a very early stage and his desire for BPL football are all good signs. Patience fellow Villains.

Agree4 Disagree1

Response: To be fair, No one doubts Belhanda's ability, he has stated his preference to play in the EPL, so why do you think he needs so long to decide whether or not to come to Villa. If it was financial the decision would have been made already, so I think he's stalling for a champions league type team to enquire, if this is the case he will never be fully happy at VP.

Agree2 Disagree0

Bellhanda has signed for dynamo kiev, shame I would had loved him if he came to the villa

With all the rumours going round about Younes Belhanda. Is he joining or not? I know that two clubs bid have been accepted and they are supposed to be us and a club in the Middle East. Hope he joins us he is the type of player we need!

Aston Villa accidentally release photo of Hounes Belhanda holding the no 10 shirt on a social network then remove the post! He's signing?

Believable4 Unbelievable12

NZogbia is number 10 and he will not be leaving, so this is rubbish.

Agree6 Disagree2

Which social media site what a load of rubbish

Agree7 Disagree2

N'zog is 14

Agree2 Disagree4

Re: Accidental release, you think AVFC would forward photo's to the media of new player prior to announcing it on the official site, some supporters need to calm down and think before they post!

Younes Belhanda has till July 7th to sign for Villa otherwise the club will pull the plug on any deal and move their attentions to another ATtacking mid from France

Believable3 Unbelievable2

My sources have said 3rd of July. He has been offered £35k a week after having a £10.5m bid accepted.
However he has been offered £55k with another club.

Agree5 Disagree1

Arsenal are also believed to be interested but put him at around 8mil.

Agree3 Disagree2

Who's your source? Why is everything so secretive, just say what you heard and from who. That way you have a chance of people believing you

Villa interested in signing Victor Wanyama, Ba (Porto) and Belhanda. Not sure if all of these will come off but know enquires have been made. Players out will be the fonz, Barry bannan, given, bent, Ireland, possibly Clark, Stevens.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Cant see clark or stevens being sold.

Agree5 Disagree2

I know he chose Celtic over Villa, when he moved from Germinal Beerschot in the summer of 2011. Not heard anything of a move for him this summer though. Maybe just wishful thinking by us.

Agree4 Disagree0

Stevens will but Clark won't

Agree3 Disagree4

I have to say, for those of you that think Villa need a defensive midfielder Ba may be the man, he really does look exceptional, even though he mostly play's at center half at present.

Agree4 Disagree0

Perhaps Ba is the reason that PL has not signed Murphy after all.

Agree4 Disagree0

Unless ba is coming in for Clark to move forward

belhanda to sign Monday!

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Bulls**t

Agree5 Disagree4

Absolute nonsense

Agree6 Disagree1

Blimey, this is tiring.
Go on then mate, how do you know
(know answer as usual I suspect)
Mendax

Agree6 Disagree0

He is not coming Lambert said so himself

Agree1 Disagree6

Lambert has never stated he is not signing the guy! Some of you lot are reading half a story or even just a headline and think it's fact! Come on are there any genuine links like from the fella who called the Norwich goalkeeper signing couple of weeks before it happened?

Agree11 Disagree0

But the Birmingham Mail UNDERSTANDS Paul Lambert is not interested in bringing the £12 million-rated 23-year-old to Villa Park.

Any how even if he does state we are not interested in a player how many times has Fergie come out and said we are not going to be signing this guy and then low and behold the guy is in a united shirt for the first game of the season

Personally I like the way we go about our business and don't name names until the player has signed on the dotted line

Paul Lamberts claret & blue army!
