Been seeing loads about Guzan to Middlesbrough and Gana to Everton, read from Gregg Evans even though Gana has a release clause of another team offer more than Everton we can still accept that offer so hopefully we start a bidding war and get closer to his market value. Also hope now this is the last of us losing player so cheap because of mistakes of the old regime, delph went for pennies and so will gana, then you see Jordan Ibe and Kante (similar stats to Gana last year) going for ridiculous money! Wyness seems much more adept to football matters!

Sorry but no bidding war will happen only on wages as a release clause is a release clause.

Gana's release clause expires in 2 days, does anyone know if because Everton have already activated it if personal terms and a medical an such extend past the deadline does that mean they no longer get the release clause and we can accept the highest bid?

Sorry ste76, a release clause means it allows him to speak to club, and if that offer isn't bettered we have to accept, however another club can better the offer, and we can accept this instead.
They could both offer same, then it is down to player.
