Ronny Rodelin is set to join new recruits Joe Cole and Philippe Senderos this season at Villa, not much talk on what fee? but expected to go through next week.

A young player who has just had a great goalscoring season in a successul side? If true, not going to cost the earth and therefore nota bad shout.

People saying ' not under Lerner's ownership' are forgetting money generated from TV etc last season (60m), surely this is available as Lerner has made it clear he will not be taking funds out of the club to repay his loans hence the 200m initial sale fee

Close friend works at villa and says we are close to signing danny ings from Burnley. Don't know who is paying for him.

It would be better if Villa signed Bendtner, because he has Premier League experience, and he is a free agent at the moment. I believe that Ings would be worse compared to Bendtner. Besides Villa can't sign Ings at the moment.

If Villa sign Bendtner, Villa will be a stronger team. He is a decent goalscorer 43 goals in the Premier League and 36 goals for his national team. For me that is a striker who is improving and who will score more goals.

Are you trying to tell me that Ings is a better option than Bendtner?

Bendtner is a free agent at the moment, and he has experience, having played for Arsenal, Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus. He has also experience playing for his national team. We can only afford signing players on free transfers right now, so what more can you ask for in this transfer window?

Ings is a Championship player at best, and Villa can only loan him at the moment.
Bendtner is still a better option here.

How is danny ings not better then bentner infact he's better then all our strikers bar benteke i'm not saying chamionship goals make u an instant prem player but the lads a class act i'd be suprised if he came villa though well out of our league
