Just heard remi garde will not be leaving aston villa hollis and the
Board willing to give him next season in the championship to build his own team personally I think it's a mistake garde only won 2 games we would of been better sticking with Tim sherwood.

All down to money villa won't pay his compensation if they sack him.

Will be gone by this time tomorrow.

Hollis is aware that Lerner has paid out several million in getting rid of previous managers and is protecting him from a claim of wrongful dismissal.
Garde was promised funds in the January window but was shafted by the powers that be at the time.
Hollis is attempting to put the house in order following the shambolic efforts of the previous board of idiots.
Will Garde stay or will he walk away?
He is a proud man and will fight all the way to prove himself and given the support a manager needs he may well be right for AVFC.
Had Sherwood and Lambert had the right support they too may well have been successful!

{Ed025's Note - good post that OV..

Completely agree about lambert!

23 Mar 2016 06:28:04
Sorry no have watched Remi Garde this season I agreed with most and thought he may be able to mould these misfits together
After 3 games where the new manager effect should work
It didn't
He doesn't move of the bench
No motivation no nothing if reports are correct and he never spoke to the players from Wednesday onwards to the Swansea game that is pathetic

Lambert was ok until he was pep in Germany and then stats stats and more stats became more important than points

Tim nice but dim
Clueless. He is the reason we are here
Leicester Stoke palace Swansea all dropped points de to lack of tatics.

Garden is still here pmsl.

Thoughts on the rumour of Chris Coleman as next boss? Not a name I had thought about until I read it.

22 mar 2016 16:02:20
at the momment remi garde is still our manager he's got 2 meetings today let's see what happens.

22 Mar 2016 16:19:59
Not disputing he's our manager Mike. just gauging thoughts on a rumour on a rumour site. makes a change from hearing Pearson or bruce.

22 Mar 2016 16:49:40
Fair shout craiggers, I have read the same paper rumour.
Not for me though to be honest mate, would prefer Moyes as I have posted many times before.
Interesting though to see how many on here would go with Coleman!

22 Mar 2016 16:58:45
Wouldn't mind Coleman to be honest but would prefer moyes but I'm afraid we are sticking with remi garde so I'm hearing.

He's done well for Wales but don't remember him setting the league on fire as a club manager. As a Northern Ireland man always remember lawrie Sanchez doing well for us and then left to go to Fulham and was a disaster.

23 Mar 2016 23:24:30
I'd do well for Wales with bale and Ramsey in my team, they've a decent squad too! Certainly not Coleman for me. Perplexed as to why people keep playing the blame game with our manager, the one before him and so on.

Just seen our new board member mr. bernstein saying he's a realist and not prone to making silly projections, and then. follows it up with the thought to share that he thinks it's not beyond the realms of possibility we suffer a double relegation and end up in division 1,now we're not ninnys, we know next season is going to be a culture shock, finding our feet again (and being booted up in the air) but, show a bit of optimism, we've got to get rid of the malaise around the club, and get bernstein and the others singing from the same hym sheet, come on, utv!
