Personally I don't have any probs with BEN his agent has stirred a lot really,he was our saviour and kept us in Prem last 2 seasons,bit moody,lazy at times but he just needed the love,i wish him luck but we know it's a mistake lol,BR will be sacked by October and team be in disarray,surprised he wasn't sacked end of season but pressure is really on him now

Benteke deserves a heroes welcome, if it wasn't for him we'd be playing championship football and a hell of a lot worse off than we are now

I have to disagree Villan, Benteke as never had Villa at heart, he was looking to leave last season and he as just used Villa as a stepping stone team from day one, Yes you could argue that he scored some important goals for us but isn't that why he was paid thousands of pounds a week, I grant you he was a decent player whilst we had him but to portray him as some sort of Villa legend or hero is ridiculous.

Yep agree, top player on his day and if you can get him to perform consistently could be one of the best in europe.
But
He put in for a transfer request
He would of gone last season if he hadn't got injured
He gets injured
He spits the dummy when not going his way rather than trying harder
He has a tendency to go missing
Yes, he is a good player and yes we relied on him, but he is no hero and far from irreplaceable. Just read some of the scousers mixed thoughts on his arrival, what does that tell you?
