I have it on good authority that villa are in talks with the agents of Mario Balotelli and robin van persie. a deal is close for one of them but at this point I can't say which one. now shoot me down people but you will see within the next 10 days. !

Balotelli would be fantastic if you get his head right. But at the momment i don't think that we will take that chance. an rvp lol is he still playing? but yea i like it when you come up with names that are differnt one fings 4 sure we have been the best side in all the games but without a goalscorer you end up mid table! Ballotelli should be coming into his prime now, and got something to prove, not entirely PC, but I want our No9 banging goals in and banging his way through the female cast of TOWIE, not helping old ladies across the road or kissing babies at Xmas, he's as much as a risk as Morrison and it seems like people on here are warming to the idea of him so why not why always me? If he were to bang a couple in against the nose you'd forget what a knob he's been in the past, and our new spine of the team would show him 'manners' if he got out of line? I think the time is right for him as he's out of last chances. Bring on the pelters

We certainly need striker cover but these two really are too high risk! VP would give us class for say 2 or 3 games and out injured for the rest with little cover. MB well what can you say that hasn't already been said?! Would he literally and psychologically turn up! If either signed then ok it is a really long shot with many risks and would get behind them, but no thanks to either of them UTV!

I think RVP will be looking for his last pay check and as for Balotelli he couldn't get a decent record in a very average AC Milan side. don't want to see either of them at the club imo.

Why would we want to undo all the good work that RDM and Tony have done in clearing out the majority of players with poor attitudes
"Balotelli would be fantastic if you get his head right". but therein lies the problem-his head isn't right. And it's not right in a way that goes way beyond finding himself at the right club or with the right manager. The lad needs psychiatric help

There is a thing with that benteke money.
I'm told, not sure if true, that they only paid £8m for him, rest was in instalments.
If that's the case, surely most of that money comes straight to the good doctor?

The club does have debts to service or should we say Dr has, i think he has already covered the clubs overdraft as part of the takeover though ed? Its even more heart warning then that he is sticking to his plán of £40 - £50 million spend albeit some has been generated via sales.
