Ed, what do you think about the houllier situation? Is he going and if so who's likely to replace him because as much as I would like moyes I can't see us getting him. Fingers crossed it ain't the wolly with the brolly. {Ed007's Note - From what I can make of it, Houllier will not be back at Villa, Moyes is the favourite to take over, with Mark Hughes and Sven Goran Eriksson being heavily linked with the job as well}

Hearing faint rumours that a business pal of Randy Lerner is looking to take control at ASton Villa so that Lerner can look after his businesses in the States. The investor is said to have 8 billion pound fortune so this could mean some big money signings and a change of manager in the summer months. apparently the investor has links with liverpool owner john w henry too.
