I think we should get a manager who we show our support to for at least 4 seasons. McCleish was an odd choice and may well have to go. However Villa fans.... WE MUST allow the new manager some slack, we need to cut our wages and re-build this will lead to below par performances for at least another year. If we get 12m for Gabby sell 5-6 others and bring in some new players then okay lets just be realistic and calm. Its all very well going bankrupt to finish 6th but its pointless really. Forget petty rivalries, allow other clubs to overspend to finish at the other end of mid-table - we need a long term strategy !

The man himself keeps saying he wants to stay at Villa for his whole career and he is Villa through and through. Settled happily in Birmingham where he was born and bred and where he is going to soon captain the team he loves! rubbish rumour!

No hes gd enough, just out of position most the time and has inconsitent form

Secondly to the person who says we should sell 6 players in the summer we release Cuellar,Beye,Hesksy,Petrov and on top of this you want to sell 6 players granted Dunne,Ireland,N'Zogbia,Warnock and thats a push as McLiesh wont sell N'Zogbia and Ireland

Gabby is a striker if he doesn't score goals he is good enough he is no where near being one of our best players

if we lose tommorow mcleish has to go!!

i have stuck by mcleish thinking all the players injured and going out is going to effect the club but enough is enough!

only players left injured for tommorow shall be bent and dunne !!

Randy put kev and gordon in charge till end of season and look for a director of football as the club needs someone to deal with players coming in and out of the club leaving whoever will be in charge to focus on the team to play and win games with flair !!!!

Total agee with you, Ehiogu says we have missed bent i dont think he would have scored with AM tactics also not many injured at the start of season

Well he hasnt gone and will still be there come august when the new season starts
