Agree4 Disagree0

Its depay and can't see psv sellin 1 of their top youngsters

Agree3 Disagree1

Cant find anything about 'memphis topay'. are u sure the spelling is right?

Agree3 Disagree0

Don't you mean Memphis depay

Agree4 Disagree0

I think you mean Memphis Depay the PSV player

Agree3 Disagree0

Topay? Whom exactly will Memphis be paying? If you mean Memphis Depay? He is staying at PSV.

Agree1 Disagree1

Memphis Depay you mean, yup that would be one of the signings of the season and would make Paul Lambert a Transfer Window Messiah, however it's very unlikely but I would "absolutely luv it", he would fit right into our attacking nature and has blistering pace

Agree5 Disagree0

The player from psv we'r after is dries mertens. Surely if we can get him in it may convince bentekkers to stay

Agree6 Disagree0

There's so many young good players as well as the like of dries mertens and eric pieters at PSV. i'm not sure anybody knows who we're after.

Aston Villa have seemingly landed their man in Alexandar Tonev as the club have now agreed a fee of 2.5mil with Lech Poznan.

Two or three more signings of this nature should see Villa add the right amount of spice to a young and hungry squad and should see them push for a top ten position in the league this coming season

Aston Villa have agreed a GBP 2. 5 M deal with Lech Poznan to sign Bulgarian winger Aleksandar Tonev, according to media reports.

The 23-year-old winger, who has played 11 times for his country, is expected to finalize the transfer this weekend.

According to The Sun newspaper, sources close to Tonev say the lure of the Premier League swung the deal for Villa ahead of a host of top European clubs.

Recent reports suggested that the likes of Celtic and Werder Bremen were also in negotiations for the promising Bulgarian.

Meanwhile, it has also emerged that Aston Villa are interested in snapping up another Bulgarian international. Paul Lambert's side may sign Kuban Krasnodar striker Ivelin Popov, according to Russian media reports

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Talks have begun for Villa to sign Popov it seems!

Agree6 Disagree2

There in talks but that's it the club has agreed a fee with both Celtic and Aston villa its now down to the player on who he wonts to play for

Agree2 Disagree2

Well the only thing Celtic have over us is champions league football, and they are never going to win it, so that leaves either recognition and/or the ability to play against world class players, but I think you would get more recognition with the World Cup coming up by playing I the EPL, and you would play against more world class players, we also have the ability to pay higher wages, Birmingham is a better place to live than Scotland and finally, we have Petrov, who is Bulgarian and was playing for Bulgaria when Tonev was a teenager so he will be a role model - he is ours
