Garde going to walk out on us an who blames him not me.

01 Feb 2016 23:03:01
Good luck to the bloke, dark day for our club though, my message to Lerner.

NOT WELCOME AT VILLA PARK!

UTV.

Can't blame garde if he walks! He toom the job with the thought he would get this window to improve the squad. He's been hanging inti that since he arrived!

I just don't see why the board are so hell bent on destroying our great club? Are they actively seeking another compensation payment and massive fan
backlash?

Even if lerner now uninterested in the club, he's a businessman, surely he's interested in his investment?!?!

02 Feb 2016 16:06:00
Randy Lerner wouldn't come to Villa Park if he was welcome, his lack of interest is a serious part of the problem. How many other chairman watch on average of one game every 3 seasons?

03 Feb 2016 23:08:44
how about we reform as FC VILLA OF ASTON.

05 Feb 2016 22:52:20
I will follow Aston Villa FC even if they fall and fall! Look at Man City and their visit to the third tier. They came back quick we took longer in the 1960s and 70s There is only one Aston Villa regardless of what happens at board and ownership level VTID.

06 Feb 2016 00:46:08
So by disagreeing you think FC United is a realistic option for life long Man U fans? AFC Wimbledon is sound because club were moved and renamed so no longer existed. FC Rangers I get because old Rangers disappeared. I would follow Barcelona for the love of the city rather than abandon villa for another English club or follow Sutton Coldfield Town as my home town before some fake villa protest outfit, just my opinion! VTID.

Bt sport saying late loan approach for Lou. Remy. joys of Twitter.

01 Feb 2016 21:58:57
Why ain't it on sky sports, and grade went earlier today so not any truth in that.

01 Feb 2016 21:59:41
Don't believe it.

01 Feb 2016 22:00:07
Can't see it happening.

01 Feb 2016 22:26:32

01 Feb 2016 22:57:01

Brilliant Flackie. You beat me to it. Lol.

01 Feb 2016 18:27:05
Guys, I get all the talk about the board being responsible for our downfall over a long period, but unfortunately you can't blame the board for not going through with their promises in this window. They HAVE actually been willing to put their hands in their pockets, but any offers we have made have been rejected as the players just don't want to come to the Villa. yes it's only loans, but that still required investment in wages, one off fees etc. Bottm line, it's not the board now, it's just Villa have become flat out unactractive to play for!

01 Feb 2016 20:19:10
So newcastle sunderland norwich swansea can tempt players but we are un attractive. No our board are un supportive of us the fans, the manager and all the coaches. They are a shambles who won't invest.

01 Feb 2016 21:29:35
None of those teams mentioned sit at the bottom of the league with a mountain to climb just to survive,

This is why we are in attractive and players are going to Sunderland Norwich Newcastle Swansea.

01 Feb 2016 21:37:18
With relegation all but inevitable, yes we are unattractive compared to Newcastle, Norwich, Sunderland etc. Doumbia is a prime example. Remi Garde said he put hours of time in to try and get him in, his own time, Newcastle put an offer in with no groundwork, and who has he chosen to play for? Any semi decent player isn't going to lower himself to ALMOST guaranteed relegation.

01 Feb 2016 14:19:19
its to my understanding remi garde will leave aston villa at the end of season after promises being broke by the board. the board are cutting costs and aren't happy that remi garde hasn't got the best out of the french players so it will be a mutual agreement. I can't tell you how i know but watch this space.

01 Feb 2016 15:14:14
Not that this is Remi's fault, but if we didn't keep swapping managers maybe we'd have some money for players! Our compensation bill must be ridiculous!

N'zogbia should be disgusted with himself! (I know not relevant but reallgangers me! )

The board and owner need to take a good long look at themselves? Spineless cowards! I'm sure season ticket prices will remain the same despite championship football. Oh well, at least we'll get more games

All we really needed was a striker and that may have given us a chance!

I never thought our great club would be subject to this torture!

01 Feb 2016 15:59:17
and i wouldn't blame the man. he has been royally shafted by lerner and his muppets and i for one feel sorry for garde.

01 Feb 2016 16:26:35
I wouldn't hold any grudges or think badly of him if he walked out at 11pm tonight!

01 Feb 2016 17:46:21
I remember garde saying that he was going to put his own stamp on the team and would be backed in January, so now it's February, Lerner and the board screw over the fans and the manager time after time. This is group of people who brought in Mcleish after all.

01 Feb 2016 18:29:08
Yes mate.

01 Feb 2016 18:37:04
What was the point of sacking Tim and bringing in reme with false promises of improvements and money to spend only to turn around and bluff, might as well of left Tim in charge as now we will be in the championship looking for another manager, what is going on! Lerner, fox, Hollis and the other muppets couldn't run a bath never mind our once massive and famous club steeped in history, the only thing they have done is made us a laughing stock. Surely a proven striker should of came in even if it cost Lerner millions as the value of our club is dropping daily and with it being the worst financial season to drop out of the prem just proves what useless business people they are.

01 Feb 2016 11:56:14
Kingvilla exclusive here. We will not sign a single player today and we are doomed people. What a sorry excuse for a owner and bored. Villa till I die!

01 Feb 2016 12:14:15
Prefer when I don't agree with you kingvilla

01 Feb 2016 13:27:20
Agree no 1 coming in.

01 Feb 2016 15:35:16
What I don't get about all that's gone on is Spurs are building new ground (big money) yet can spend big, Redscouse/ Bluescouse can spend big and potentially going to be building new grounds, West Ham must be paying a premium to play at Olympic Stadium next season and can spend big, we own our ground 100% and have a net spend of around £10M? All the teams that you would of thought would be in the mix for being in a relegation battle spend that on 1 player! Get all our kids back off loans now and play them because I bet my horlicks that we get no one in today that's going to get us outta this mess, at least the kids will have no fear, set yourself up for a big loss on your 'investment' Lerner

UTV.

01 Feb 2016 15:45:13
We won't sign anyone.
