Why the hell would Villa want the donkey. Cole was a disaster when he came to AVFC some years ago and he is no better now!!!!!

big news mark albrighton to sign for sunderland by next week craig gardner is coming back to villa as part of the deal

villa showing interest in chris samba but more likely smokescreen for scott dann who will join villa with james collins going to blackburn

mcleish is contemplating a bid for marvin sordell of watford the bid is in the region of 4 million

lastly villa will sign david weir from rangers short term contract, i know these will happen, as i am a close relative of one of the villa reserve team players, he will go barmy when he sees i have posted these

Believable3 Unbelievable30

Utter, utter rubbish.

Craig will never return after his 'I've always been a Blues fan' comments, Dann will not sign and what on earth would we want with Weir?

Finally, how on earth would a reserve team player know about possible signings? Does Alex sit them all in a room when discussing his plans?

Agree20 Disagree1

Why the reserves would know who we selling and buying is beyond me + marc has said he doesnt want to leave! Sordell for 4m?? where we getting that from??

Agree13 Disagree2

Gardner is going to Birmingham on loan

Agree9 Disagree5

Funny thing is, I asked my mate in the villa reserves and he laughed in my face for thinking any of the players, reserve or senior, would know anything about transfers.

Agree9 Disagree1

So many people write so much rubbish on this page it's untrue. FACT villa are signing no one unless we sell the likes of Bent, Gabby or Albrighton the only players left at this once great club with any value. So stop speculating and get real. Would you won't to play for a mid table club, facing a relegation

Agree6 Disagree3

When are villa supporters going to learn not to listen to rumours. WE ARE FLAT BROKE AND IN DEBT! There is no money and the loan signing of Robbie Keane shows we are on our arse financially. Oneil virtually bankrupted this club and we are paying for it now. It will be a rough couple of years and we will need to rely on free transfers or youth players coming through to get by.

Agree12 Disagree3

One thing i can say about villa and that is they are NOT in debt that is one thing i can praise randy for and that is not letting the club get in trouble financially and that is the reason sir doug sold to him and not that fraud who owns blues which he could of sold to if he wanted to but didn't so all you so called loyal villa fans out there who say vote with your feet just remember yes things could be better but things could be a hell of a lot worse!!

Agree9 Disagree4

Fact: randy lerner has wiped off all the debt that he gave us as a loan does not count anymore.
Villa have £14m debt only.
albrighton is not leaving & sunderland are worse than us!

Agree9 Disagree3

I am so glad there are others who belive this is a problem caused by oniell and his ability to waste money on average or end of career players.Stop messing about and get behind the team.
Look at randys stance at cleveland browns he will not throw money on the off chance he tried it and it failed both at villa and cleveland.

Agree5 Disagree1

But we are in debt you tool, Randy when he went on a spending spree with Mon. The money was borrowed against the name of the club, so Villa as it stands are in debt. too quite a hefty sum, plus with us pulling back our stupidly high wage bill, i think it was 85 Million from 90 million turnover last season. It all rings that we're skint, and sinking fast.

Randy will sell up, but he has to address the black hole that is our clubs annual turnover, loss and profit margins as it stands only an person or someone with money to burn would take us off his hands.

Agree6 Disagree1

Lerner has spent approximately £138 million of his own money to buy the club ad the players. The bottom line is this: the club hasn't financed itself at all. It's not self sufficient. Lerner has put his own money in and as a business man and let's not forget, that's what he is, he will want that money back one way or another. Coupled with a manager who plays the most boring football I have ever seen at villa park, worse than it was under O'Leary and ground running up to 15-20,000 below capacity it makes for grim reading. We will get buy and will be ok but need either an inspirational manager or a new owner and let's be honest, neither will be queuing up to get through the door at villa park

Agree7 Disagree1

I spent £15,000 on corporate hospitality for this season. No chance i will be doing it next season. Its the first time I can't wait for the season to end. It's painful to watch at the moment! Even the ex pro's who don't normally criticise are moaning.

Agree8 Disagree0

We are in debt yes, as our probably about 16 other clubs in the league. We are not in bad shape financially in terms of administration etc. Lerner has been repaid his loan when we sold Downing and Young. Hes not going to risk the future of the club to buy players in every transfer window. Deal with it.

Agree3 Disagree0

So 16 other clubs are in debt as well - that ok then is it. And no Lerner hasn't been repaid ALL his money. That's the trouble, the money the club needed from Downing and Young has not gone into the club as such. Wake up and get real

Agree1 Disagree2

What I'm saying is, football is a business. Everyone is in debt because they can loan money from banks because when the seasons over, even if you get relegated your able to pay off the debts if you wanted. We're not in that bad shape, we just need to get the wage bill down before we can start to rebuild. And your right Lerner hasnt been paid of fully but villa dont owe him alot considering we brought in almost 40million in, in the summer.

Agree3 Disagree0

Villa will be in good shape next season, as the likes of gary gardner, ciaran clark, bannan, albrighton and herd have gained enough experience to intensify training sessions and produce consistancy on match days too.
Its vital to get rid of the riff raff of heskey, beye and cuellar and possibly petrov to be able to bring in 2 quality players. I definetly can see a brighter future next season.

PS Id love to see makoun playing in a diamond formation with ireland in front of him!

Nathaniel Clyne is wanted by Villa, though bigger teams are also interested so not sure how likely a move to B6 is?
