So there we have it we can put all these rumours to bed lambert is here to stay while lerner is still owner he will be here as manager until a takeover is done he ain't going no where so look forward to seeing more league 1 players coming and getting knocked out of the cup by lower league teams because that's our future under lerner and lambert can't wait

Let's be honest lambert was never going to get sacked while Kerner was in charge, where would be the sense in that? He would have to pay lambert off and then there would be nobody to look after first team affairs untill the club was bought, as he was never going to appoint another manager when any new owners would more than likely want their own manager.

the longer this furore drags on the worse it will become for everyone associated with AVFC

Its important lambert stays until ownership is resolved. there needs to be some stability over summer. no owner and lambert is much better than no owner and no manager. if a new owner wants a new manager they'll do that once they've actually brought the club.

Lambert stays, new ownership occurs, lambert is given a hefty transfer kitty and the end of his contract to show how good he is. Sounds a bit like when man city were taken over! Just because new owners could come in doesn't mean wholesale change straight away.

I think it will go hand in hard. If there is a buyer in the pipe line then lerner will sack lambert. If not I can't see it myself
