I was just thinking the same thing classof82, Xia has gone from saying there's 50+ mil for transfers to around the 30 mil mark an then in an interview since the takeover he said "I never said how much money we'd have to spend, we will look at the squad", don't know the exact figure but surely he should be giving us all of this years parachute payment!

I think the money we will spend will be from player sales and parachute payments, that's all well and good but if we don't go straight back up we could find ourselves in one hell of a mess, then what? Money being borrowed secured against the ground an training facilities or will xia vanish back to China an we will be left with Samuelson tryin to get the club on the cheap

So many negative comments about us signing elphick who is a good CB and a leader.
