So bitter!

Can I recommend a course of anti-depressants for this less than positive gentleman.

Goodness me. I have commented a couple of times about this incessant negativity that has shrouded the Villa section of this site.

I personally find that the current situation at Villa is certainly on the up. I mean it was a huge risk that Lambert took, in terms of allowing the younger guys to play and benching the more experienced over paid.

What this has done is saved us perhaps half a season in terms of time used on blooding the youngsters. They are now fully prepared to go into combat this coming season with their tails up mind you, as they really gelled in the latter parts.

This is our version of Wengers strategy of paying for low risk high reward types and it will see us playing exciting football whilst developing young talent. how else can we compete with the top clubs who can easily outspend us?

I don't get where this negative drivel comes from. things are so much more promising than two years ago

What makes villa the most ambitious club in the prem may I ask?

I think most clubs fans would say welcome to the most ambitious club in the epl but would have to say its an exciting project at villa.
I think this striker will do well for the club too.

Villa are the most ambitious team because they have a project which is similar to the one at Borrusia Dortmund, with so many gambles for one of England's most successful ever teams - it was a bold one which is continuing & big things are expected from relatively unknown players compared to a year ago - such as Benteke, Westwood & Lowton

Hey i'm not saying its a bad thing just saying far too many times over the years we have brought in a great talent who has had a good season or two then we end up selling them to a bigger team
