Would be a good gamble this one, again a very exciting prospect, I do think we need some experience as well,

Yeah I'd be quite happy with this at 18 he can still develop massively. Agree with the experience comment and as much as he splits opinions it wouldn't suprise me if it is Adebayor who provides that

I hope we go in for this kid, bags of potential he's already a beast and is only going to get stronger. 10 million sounds like a lot for an 18 yr old unproven in the Prem but it could prove to be a bargain.

Be a great signing but i think he would cost more, maybe 12-15m, get him or martial and praet (9-10m) and think we're looking good - almost 40m with gueyye and amavi
Also need a bit of experience maybe remy or adebayor (on loan) til january

Really looking forward to the new season now most of the deadwood and ingrates have been cut loose or jumped ship. We didn't achieve anything with any of them " the Good the Bad or the down right Ugly". Fresh faces with ( fingers crossed) passion, enthusiasm, belief, ability and a bit of pride for the club they are plying there trade for!. I'd love to see this line up at VP next season: 1. Guzan 2. Richards 3. Amavi 4 Okore 5 Clarke 6 Darder 7 Praet 8 Gueye 9 Embolo 10 Gil 11 Grealish.

For once I'd love not to be looking at the last three fixtures in May trying to work out whether we can stay up. Why can't we be looking a Brom and laughing at them in that position instead.

18 Jul 2015 23:39:49
I know Richards is set on playing CB but for me he is one of the best RB's around when fit and would form a solid back four with Amavi Clarke Okore (Richards) so why shell out to get a quality RB when we already have one

Yeah fair enough I'm glad he has! I just wrote what I'd seen. Still managed to hold out till his wages were raised from £45k to near £60k

Yeah we tripled his wages to get him, but we got him, hopefully we can expect more signings over the next week or so

Only thing I've seen on sky sports is both Villa and Nice agreed fee,with all the BS over Delph and proposed Ben medical Monday Liverpool wouldn't surprise me Amavi changes his mind as widely reported was difficult to convince him to come VP in 1st place,Jeeez I hope not we need a lift,awful weekend thanks Delph,BEN always knew he would leave it was inevitable :)

Whether Randy Lerner completes the sale of the club or if he intends to retake the reins himself, one thing still remains certain and that is that the club now needs to show their intentions over the next few weeks by the way of massive investment in new players. A quality strike force is definitely now needed unless we are to suffer the humiliation of another goal drought as we witnessed last season and I’m not talking about end of career strikers. We will find out for sure before the start of the new season just by what players we have bought whether or not we are genuinely moving forward or if we are all going to be condemned to watching second rate football for another season followed by the all too familiar relegation battle. It’s time now to do the right thing for the club whoever may be in charge so let’s see the colour of your money and put back the long awaited smiles on the oh so many loyal fans who have stood firmly by the club through these torrid years and unlike many of the players us Villa fans are here long term.

do you mean 40 mill of delph and benteke sale?? well sure that won't happen as we have to pay 3.5 to genk from the benteke sale half .5 mill to leeds for delph don't we??

{Ed001's Note - under the new transfer rules, the team/s who developed a player during his youth will get 5% of any future transfer fees, as well as any sell on clauses they are entitled to.}

I've supported this great club for about 45
years, I've seen good times and bad times
ranging from the humiliation of seeing us
having to play in the 3rd tier of football to
the heights of seeing us raise the European Cup
but of late it's beginning to become evermore
difficult for even myself to keep the faith,
every piece of good news seems to be followed
by twice as much bad news. It's time someone
started to get a grip of this football club and
move it forward or I'm afraid to say the club
will very soon become doomed to a point where
it would take many years to put right.

Heard that rumour also that TS will leave if the money doesn't get re-invested and who would blame him to be honest,he came here although I was sceptical that something wasn't right at Spurs because he left with the best win/loss ratio for many year there,but I'm wrong he is young,energetic,looks good man manager of individuals,showed Ben the love he craved which turned our fortunes last season in fact the whole squad,with all this crap who knows what to expect anymore. dammm hope not about this rumour

Still not that far in proceedings aa Liverpool can't afford to give full fee upfront, they trying to stagger payment over 3 seasons, needs to be sorted very soon though, so we can rebuild our great club

Can't afford Ben's fee ??? Just got 40mil with QPR sell on fee for Sterling covers 32.5mil,Liverpool talking S*** as usual,I'd be happier Man U executed fee release maybe go talks with season loan for Wilson and although hatred towards Delph for screwing us from behind we've always known Ben wanted to leave from day 1 considering he thought we was arsenal lol,so I think he would be better addition to Man U than Liverpool and we could get half decent striker back up,surely Hernandez would laugh at prospect but again another option would be great
Agree0
Disagree0
{Ed001's Note - Liverpool did not get £40m up front, it would be best if you didn't get involved in financial talk as you clearly do not understand it. Liverpool have more than spent any money they are receiving for Sterling before the deal was done.}
