Sky sports transfer news reckon PL still interested in Defoe & Jones!

Id love them both and a new winger and a lb but its highly unlikely

Are Villa again watching the purse strings...Very disappointed at the options being looked at by PL, it shows a clear lack of ambition or financial support of RL, these players are surplus to requirements of teams we aim to emulate or are bigger than.

There is no depth, above average players or Marquee signing, why the hell should Konate/Phillips/Brahimi not be on our wanted list, why do players like Lukaku prefer other average midland clubs such as WBFC {no disrespect intended}, this is concerning I would gamble on Sofiane Feghouli but i'm not the boss.

All that being said if PL faills we all fail, as such he has my supports all the way, but it doesn't mean I have to agree with those options he mentioned. defoe proved him and bent offer very little as a partnership, as for K.Jones Inconsistant is the only description

Jones is a target man which we require & Defoe would be amazing.

Lambert reported on BBC website as saying Defoe and Jones signings are 'wait and see' at the moment. I believe he goes into saying that Villa will always be linked with that type of deal and player
