Darren Bent to move to Liverpool in January as Paul Lambert doesn't see him in his plans.

Lambert to use the money made with the Bent transfers to sign Stewart Downing (Liverpool) on loan, Johnny Russell (Dundee United), Matias Suarez (Anderlecht) and Michael Dawson (Tottenham)

Lambert has made it clear Bent will be a Villa player at the end of January.
Liverpool still owe us £10m for Downing who will NEVER be accepted back as a Villa player.
And thirdly, Lambert says he has depth & now is looking at quality not the rubbish you are linking us with!

I think we will need to go balls out for 2 10m players in January. That is best spent abroad as the UK market proves that 10m buys very little.

I wouldn't mind but hes only been at villa 2 and a half months so it takes the piss just a little so he'll be off in the summer or the jan after {Ed002's Note - Actually I think you will find all he said is that he is an Arsenal supporter.}

Stop joining the bandwagon of taking harmless quotes and turning them into a load of rubbish. Actually read the quotes and not what journalists put with the quotes if you want the truth. Especially ignore the titles, that's just trying to get hits + sell papers, hardly ever the truth transfer story wise just from the title.

The report was done in french & was misinterpretation. He's a Villa player & he's not joining Arsenal & if he did go , he'd cost them about £30m i bet!

Duisburg goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald is a reported target of Aston Villa as the future of Shay Give remains shrouded in mystery.

The 22-year-old is now in the final year of his current contract with German outfit Duisburg and will be available for a compensation figure next summer or possibly a cut-price fee in January.
