To be honest Scott Dann is the type of defender we need. Nothing fancy/special but someone who will defend and do his job. Good signing.

Would like to see Defour here but can imagine a lot of Villa fans now saying we don't want him any more if he is going to wait on an offer from Spurs before agreeing to come here as second best.
