but I would of loved to seen helinus just behind ben 20 with baccuna and albrighton on the wings with delph and westwood in the middle but let's see what the rest of the window bringd and welcome holt hope you do well for us!

Two problems with that, firstly he never played for Norwich, secondly it will have to be on a free with them paying 70% of his wages.

Haha, yeah I think we all dislike the fact that PL is trying to turn us into his old Norwich squad, but we've got rid of irelands wage bill (which i'm sure was higher than most at villa park) would diego's be that much more that we can't grab a terrific bargin?. Either way we look at things we still desperately need an experienced central midfielder whether its a CDM or a CAM to provide that vital link between the back and the front

Holt may well not be the answer to out goal drought, but one thing he is not is lazy, always gives 110% on the pitch wether he is influential or not.

Master stroke by Lambert signing Holt, he is by no means lazy and will run his socks off for you, if he does not have the form to go with the passion at least it will put pressure on Benteke to preform.
