Anybody heard Aston Villa have contacted St Etienne manager Oscar Garcia for the job? Tic tock Brucie.

Apparently the rumour has some substance. Talk is that if villa fail to win on Saturday then Bruce will be out.

Iam going to Barnsley mate let's hope we win and they sack him anyway if not I would take a loss to be rid of Blue nose Bruce.

Classof82 We are that bad to watch even the great peter withe an shawn teale said bruce should go last home game so are they wrong aswel? Long term I don't want Bruce anywhere near our great club we are already miles behind we can't afford to keep this guy even if he flukes a win because it will just prolong him staying and come on classof82 you can't be happy with what your watching its so borring and negative we have the best players in the league let's blow the league away play 2 upfront and have ago under bruce all you will get is let's try not to lose. Are you happy with what your watching? Sometimes you got to be crawl to be kind. BRUCE OUT!

Right then walkies, any manager worth his salt knows at least a third of games you play in a season will be drosh;either because of injuries, teams using the same tactics and cancelling each other out, bad luck, or even f all luck, so unless your barcelona, madrid, united or citeh your going to put up with it, and just because you play attractive football it doesn't follow you'll win, brentford played us off the park and got a draw, in essence, if teams know each match we're going to go for it, surprise surprise they'll sit back and hit us on the break, set us up so that we're hard to break down, get the team to grind out results as a default position, so its second nature, you get a draw, boring yes, but then teams start thinking twice about playing us, then you can start building on that and start expressing yourself, but you know in your mind that if we get an injury, a sending off or are out-smarted you can just default to grinding a result out, very boring BUT very practical, i'm giving brucey the benefit here, ask yourself this, if you played Barcelona or real, would you set your stall out and play openly to get more than likely battered, or would you try to grind a result out, remember arsenal under george graham, boring boring but they won cups, and the league, later on, they started to play more openly, but playing boring and ugly was not a problem either, i'm probably wrong about this but for the sake of the club why not give him the four games and then let rip if nothing changes, yeah its a risk i suppose, but if we bring another manager in now how long will it take for him to get across his philosophy, i know you've got the camels' but either way there'd be more dramas with changing coaching personnel etc, like Villadaz says, his record isn't too shoddy!, he's still got the dressing room behind him and with a long hard season ahead, the experienced players should come into their own, come on walkies, BELIEVE IN
STEVE!

My main problem with Bruce is that he's ruluctant to put two up front. We have quality strikers, don't really understand his reticence. With some of our losses and draws, it goes down to the players. Take the Brentford game. Brentford simply ran around more, worked harder.

We've also got players missing pretty easy chances. Bruce might not have been my first choice, but you can't blame him for a players shot being blocked on the line by his own centre forward. Bruce is mixing experience with youth. He's bought a good defence for both I give him some credit.
