Don't want that Derek Boeteng, Lambert will bring in a good, cheap, hungry championship defender. Need to get that Will Hughes from Derby, the midfield looks soft.

Offload Bent & bring in Charlie Austin.
Weimann can finish like Bent but can do better finishes.
Austin would just add that little more competition to Weimann directly.

Will Hughes would definately sort it. Him and bannan would boss it and he's English so 5-6 years on could be 30mil plus. Top of my transfer list for January. Lets get him before man utd do

Jozy Altidore will join in January. To be confirmed early jan.

I hope Altidore isn't gunna join us! I'd start questioning my trust in Lambert if he signs him. Scg87

Altidore is a good option to play as a bench warmer if we sign him.

We shouldn't be signing players to be a 'bench warmer' we can't afford to waste money on players who are not an never will be good enough to start for us.

Apparently Arsenal are set to bid for Benteke in January. Highly likely as he thought he was joining Arsenal in the first place.

He didn't think he was joining Arsenal, he thought Villa were based in London. Lambert also repeatedly say Benteke is going nowhere

If Arsenal want him they will get him.

Arsenal to sign benteke ha ha don't be a plonker all your life.

Its going to take about £30m to sign Bentekkers. Arsenal will be more likely to go for Hunterlaar (who wants to join Inter) or Heskey time.
