This is looking as though a deal is close.
He is a centre back or holding midfielder @ 6ft 4in.

Hes a good player. Just depends if he can fit in straight away. Reminds me of Shawcross only he can play the ball as well and is quicker than Shawcross.

I will tell you guys what's close - Aston Villa making no signings at all! I love the club and try to be positive like Irishvilla, but I am worried we won't make any deals! Make no mistake guys Randy Lerner has no intention of spending the amount needed to rescue us, he has excepted that we could go down and the fools in charge will look for bargains instead. It has taken months for some of the players from the French league to settle so why sign more? one reason - because they are for next year in the championship.

Scouts in Portugal have been scouring the league looking for players to bring in. Stanislav Kritsyuk Braga's goalkeeper has supposedly been one target, the former Russian U21 has done well so far with 9 clean sheets this season.
