Maybe we're all asking the same question but in a different way, bruce's record is a good one, with more than one team, and with teams of different financial clout and standing, and as the saying goes, as soon as they step over the white line (i'm sure there's a robbie fowler joke there somewhere? ) its up to the players, so is it lack of desire, being too complacent and arrogant, or more simply, do we have no real leader (alpha) out there? me thinksno maybe its that simple?

As for desire, we are paying prem wages for div 1 performance.
Too much for too little.
We the fans have desire, the players don't get it.
They see £40000? A week for turning up, it's almost theft.

Oldvillian, yeah, someone of the jimmy case school of team mate encouragement school, i believe he took great joy in 'persuading' his bretheren to show some heart, or he'd show them the error of their ways!, our players need to show come cahoonas and leave their man bags at home for a change.
