my mate on the city planners says residents on witton lane are soon to be told that the doug ellis stand is to receive another tier, and that substantial offers of compensation will be available while work goes on, nothing said about the lego model that is the north stand or the corners getting filled.

Why would you build another tier when the trinity is closed. Doesn't make sense.

just been on the blower to an old navy mate of mine who lives in bournmouth9lucky) thecherries fans are gutted about his proboble move, h's seen as a solid reliable leader on and off the field at 3m£ could be a championship level centre backwhispers about matty phillips from q. p. r. starting to do the rounds now.

should a comittment to the greement to the redevelopment of the stadium be a clause in the buyers purchase? . new north stand and corners?

andyreeves9

1.) 02 May 2016 20:02:07
Don't think it would be necessary as if a huge investor realises the potential for villa to become a top 4 contender then the ground will naturally need extending by a new north stand plus corner fill ins. Without the team challenging for top 4 I think current size of Villa Park is fine. If however we reach mammoth heights then the next speculation would be will we need a 60k plus capacity stadium? New build! Would hate it of course and glad not all down to capacity but would be nice to think one day we can have such a dilemma!

no I was asking if he was stating a opinion or he knew something as I do so there could be others.

sheila in tickets says king went because finances are so bad, they know the proposed ticket prices for next year will cause a riot! but there is definatly a takeover almost completed and that v. p. staff are not to disclosethis until a formal announcement is made very soon.

nice to be looking up the table for a change, are hernandez, ayew, mccormack too alike in style young gollini looks too error prone for me, maybe RDM should have gone for a keeper with more experience. de laet is a good signing hutton hasn't had pressure for right back for too long i like to see a more 'solid' spine to the sideif we'd lasted 5 more minutes v sheffield, e should have buried huddersfield, and we looked well in order for a win v derby we'd have had 12 points and the world would be a happy place, but i'm enjoying what i sees so far. tony, get that bloody north stand down, if we getinto top4 the stadium won't be big enough.

andyreeves9

1.) 15 Jun 2016 17:53:58
And caulker please.

2.) 15 Jun 2016 19:14:06
Will do for me. Hopefully RdM has had sufficient time to get his wish list in place as the takeover has staggered on and on and on. Unlike the previous regime could be that the new lot are going to back him with some cold hard cash and not just empty promises. No Prem this season but looking forward to some good honest hard work effort and pride in the shirt. VTID.

andyreeves9

{Ed001's Note - Chang have never owned Everton, they were only ever a shirt sponsor.}

1.) 02 May 2016 18:48:40
Your right, been a massive failure at Leicester.

2.) 02 May 2016 18:59:40
Any excuse for you to mention Leicester flackie!

3.) 02 May 2016 19:48:08
Can I come round yours tonight craiggers? Get me away from here!!

4.) 03 May 2016 15:38:22
On the above subject of rubbish eastern investments (alongside said Leicester), I'll probably be watching our potential-owner Mr Wang's other substantial rubbish football investment (Atlético Madrid) in tonight's Champions League semi-final a bit later .

Just listened to Eric Black on the radio
He admits our defence is not mobile
If so why stick with them
Why did Sinclair play all game
Why sub Ayew
Where are Adama green Gil etc
He set up for a 0-0
And what happened for the first 2 goals I will never know
On the plus side the staff gave the pies away for free in upper Doug Ellis
And if history repeats itself
We can relgated Newcastle again.

if smithy does get the job, how long until the usual manager out fickles take to show their faces again? get behind the boys get villa park bouncing, we don' bounce the stadium like we used to, if you get the chance to google the villa vaults videos listen to the trabzonspor game and listen to the noise of the crowd, we've not made that volume since.

last year we 'went for experienced players, those players legs are now a year older, tery's gone looking for money, he decided we weren't good enough for his illustrious ego he said he had 'unfinished business at villa now it looks like he'll have to deliver, i think if they get the job terry and henri will be gone by easter, or before and we'll be too far off the play offs to save yet another season, but that's what we villa fans live with year after year of promise, decade after decade of failure.
